I had a Facebook account under NAME, someone hacked the account & posted that ( I ) was selling large items ( cars , trucks, etc), many of my friends & relatives either called me this morning to advised I was hacked or inquired about the items, I attempted to go into my account to change my password but was unsuccessful in that task, when I entered my phone number associated with my account (NUMBER) it indicated that # belonged to a Velvet Byrne. I tried to reach out to FB but there is not anyone to talk to or anyone to help resolve this, the website directions only indicated to download 2 forms of government ID. I will not be doing that. A relative had the same issue a couple months ago & advise FB was of no help & would not assist in helping her obtain her account, this needs to be addressed through authorities .thank you
