Got text from Peter Todd 217-955-3845 Said he was fr Talanx Group and that I was approved for interview by his company with Elizabeth Tallman on Skype.

Had lengthy interview and afterwards she said I got position. But never got video on Skype and thought it was weird. Then she started asking if I had bank account set up on my mobile and that I needed to get equipment and software. They were going to send me a check to print and deposit. That is so strange.

And I could only buy from where they indicated. Too weird for me. Also ended up getting another text from another ph# that said same thing with different name same company. What BS

I received a text asking if I would be interested in a remote position as a Purchasing Manager for $55/hour. I had applied for several similar remote positions thru LinkedIn, so I assumed it was a result of one of those applications. The "recruiter" said I would need to set up an app on my phone called ChatWork and then contact the hiring manager at Dermaliq, **** ****** I looked up **** ***** on line and there is such a person who works at this company, but he is a technical manager, not an HR person who might be conducting interviews for a purchasing manager.

The job description they provided seemed very legitimate and well written and in line with my experience and the company appears to be a real company in Delaware called Dermaliq Therapuetics. The strange thing was that the "interview" was just an on-line interactive text chat with what I think was a chat-bot. Did not respond like a real person. During the text interview, they were getting around to asking me for my drivers license and other documents when I saw this post about it being a possible scam. I just stopped the interview chat immediately and deleted the app on my phone. If it was indeed a scam, it is a very sophisticated one.

I was applying for data entry jobs and someone contacted me saying "Good morning (name)" out of the blue. I was like wtf but then they said that Laurie Hunter would contact me on Microsoft Teams for my job interview so I was excited and said ok. This Laurie Hunter person sounded like a robot through text and at first they were very nice and asked me questions about my experience. They made me send them a I-9 form, a W-4 form, and a 1-65 form with all my personal information so that's cool, they have all my personal **** now. Then they said they would have me deposit a check to my bank for software to use and when I was looking up the software I noticed other people had gotten similar messages with similar typing. When I questioned them about it, they said "Kindly decline the position and stop the accusations" and that's when I knew IMMEDIATELY. A real employer would never tell me to stop the accusations and would provide evidence that they're real. Now I'm upset because they have all my personal information and I didn't know it was a scam. They did not get any money from me. Please track down the email [email protected] and get them arrested for scamming please.

I received an email from Canna Global Supply Chain Solutions in Miami FL. They offered me a job I never interviewed for. Supply Chain Manager. Salary $95,000 year. $3500 every two weeks. They sent documents to fill out. . An I I9 form. It looks like something i would get from an employer. When I Googled the address it came up a Dunkin Donuts or apartment. I called their phone number. 954-320-4157. Message not available. Went to voice mail. I did not fill out any information. They did not ask for money.

Was texted "Good day, I am MRS. PATRICE DAWSON one of the recruiters of Talanx Group. I am contacting you in regards to your resume you posted that has been reviewed and approved by oour company on a position with a pay of $30 hourly. " This was 2nd text after I figured out the first one was a scam. They asked me to buy equipment needed for job but only where they said I could buy from. They were going to send me a check to deposit, but I had to print it myself and deposit it. I just thought that was weird.

Applied for on-line data entry clerk. Received text messages was asked to down load telegram app. I did and went on with I thought to be interview. I gave out only name of bank no other info pertaining to banking, gave out photo of driver license front and back. They asked for other info. ( not given). After they said I was hired. they sent a check from a different state in the amount of $4850.00 for equipment. Called my bank to see if it was legit they said no. Took the check to a local bank they informed me it was good. Anyway with all this being said I just want to make sure my identity is not stolen just because I gave out my DL. Went to the local Police Department and was advised that this was what they call fishing. In looking at my phone today the original texting with first people has been removed on their part. If any further information is needed such as copy of the check please contact me. Feel free to reach out to me on any other information you would like.

Was texted an initial offer for an interview, saying they found my resume on indeed and thought I would make a good candidate. The job was high paying so I said yes and tried to set up for an interview today. The interviewer never showed up to the initial meeting and then later redirected me to a secondary party. That party (who's primary contact was via gmail instead of a company site) conducted the interview over chat in microsoft teams. The questions were very obviously copy and pasted in and they asked for my banking information and phone carrier. The whole of the conversation read as someone who's second language was english... very choppy, but since the parent company was based in China I tried to stay open minded. Overall they haven't asked me for money or more personal info yet but the whole thing feels sketchy. Don't open any documents or click any links they send you, just in case. I didn't just out of habit on my end.

It was a job interview. I spoke with them via signal app. They got my name, address and phone number. The part that made me think it was a scam is that they would send me a check via mail to purchase equipment through a vendor.

The firm requests candidates to pay for a trip upfront promising a job and to fully reimburse. But only to discover a month later they did not want to reimburse, then short paid after telling the candidates they are not getting a job. When attempting to ask for expense difference mgmt threaten with harassment. Also their acctg requested to give social security and other personal info to even recover some of the expenses. Very odd business trap.

I was contacted about a job that I hadn't applied for. The "HR Representative" claimed that they were from a company called Chetu. I figured that it was because I had made my resume searchable on Indeed. They wanted me to do a chat interview via the Wire Messaging App. I did, and my "Interviewer" was using a photo they had stolen from a journalist's LinkedIn profile (I Google Image searched it). I completed the interview and they sent me a "hiring packet" that was riddled with typos and errors and said that I had to consent to sharing my banking information so that they could pay me via wire-transfer. I refused to sign it or to share any banking information. Then I contacted the actual Chetu to confirm that someone was trying to scam me. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE! These guys had copied the real Chetu's logo and contact information to use for their "onboarding materials." They even sent me emails from an email address that was almost identical to the real Chetu's HR department address. The only difference was that their domain was a .us instead of a .com!

was approached about a job offer on my personal phone about a data entry job paying 35$ an hour, the interview process was through Microsoft Teams all chat-based. the scammer could not provide any legitimate proof

Live:.cid.d13ba3b6269b9d7f that is the Skype id they used. The name was Robert Williams. They contacted me via text then interviewed me and said I got the job. Then they began asking for me to pay 200 for the time tracker machine. Wanted me to send it to [email protected] (chime vendor info) then they wanted me to send my I'd and SSN and my IRS pin # etc. I got suspicious and stopped from there. Also wanted me to send my info to [email protected]. just doesn't seem right.

I was contacted about the Remote Podcast Editor by a Mary Kate Chester on 2/28. I was told to set up/login to microsoft teams to contact the interviewing manager Frances Krulac ([email protected]) I contacted her and it was hard to get timely responses to requests to set up an interview. My suspicions about this being a scam were raised. A few days later, I finally did a text-based interview with Frances Krulac via Microsoft teams. The questions were inline with podcast editing work.

I progressed to the next interview which was supposed be a phone call with Brandon Walker on 3/7 between 1-3pm to further discuss the position. He never called. However, I did receive another message that day from Frances welcoming me to the RVO Health family and instructing me to connect with Thomas Miller, a team leader, via Microsoft teams. As soon as I requested a zoom interview, everyone went dark. All of these individuals have profiles on LinkedIn that list RVO Health as their employer.

According to the job description, I'm to receive a lot of expensive equipment ($15K) if hired. I believe they were going to send me a cashier's check to purchase this equipment from their "authorized" vendor. The check would have bounced and I would have been on the hook to the bank.

I reached out to RVO Health via email to confirm that they were hiring for this position and they never got back to me. Their website is also unsecured which seems odd for such a supposedly big company. RVO Health has no contact phone number, and I honestly don't think this company is even real. I also called their parent company Red Venture to verify and they did not return my call.

I lost no money and gave them no personal information other than my email, which they probably got from my job searching efforts.

The scammer only obtained my full name and address from me (which is already on my resume, so it seemed odd they would ask for this) and sent me the following email:

Dear (my name),

Congratulations!!! We have extended to you an offer for the post of an Executive Assistant because of your exceptional and suitable experience (Remote).

You will be enrolled in the best training available, which includes new employee orientation classes and online training. We are dedicated to assisting you in setting up a strong foundation and carrying out your duties to the best of your abilities.

Your work start date is 24th of April 2023, before then we have to sort out the purchase, installation and delivery of your workstation and equipment as well as your insurance benefits.

A payment in the form of a Certified Company Check would be issued to you by the company's financial manager to take care of the expenses which will also include your $1,000 sign up bonus. More information on the task would be communicated to you.

You would be informed of additional details on the work.

Please complete the information below to register with the company for proper documentation; the HR Department will also need this information.
