I received an email from a Jack Lockwood at [email protected], with information about a job with Lumaverse Technologies Inc. The email included much of the information from the Lumaverse website, as well as a vague "Technical Support" job description. The email asked me to send an email to a Bill Madden at [email protected] for more details about the job. I did this, and got a quick reply with more information from the company website, as well as a request to do an email interview. I was sent a list of questions which seemed to be mostly legitimate, except they also asked for my home address and the company with which I banked. I left out the personal information, and just replied to the normal interview type of questions, without providing any information that was not publicly available on my resume. After sending this information, I got no further replies. Upon looking more in depth into the issue, I found that the email address domain (lumaversetechnologiesinc.com) did not align with the domain for the information email address on the company website (lumaverse.com). I looked up the different domains information to find that they are owned by completely different companies with unrelated IP addresses connected to them. This was definitely a phishing scam to try to gather personal information from me.

I was contacted through email from someone names Lynn Teague or [email protected] saying they’ve been keeping my resume on file and would like to offer me a remote job position. She sent several emails for an application which I filled out. I waited a day or two and received a phone call from a man (786-600-1104) and he asked me a few questions about my current employment status, my address on file, and gave a brief description on the job duties. I received a few more things in my email which was a link to a control panel/dashboard that I would’ve been working from. They had me sign a W-9 form where I did put my social security number and address. Later, I received a phone call from a Jeremy H. Wilson from the same Florida phone number saying he wanted to promote me and I haven’t even started the job yet. Not even training. I never received packages to my home but soon after I spoke with him, I did some research and seen a few people saying they too were contacted through email, offered a from home shipping position and also be paid through PayPal. I am afraid that because I filled out one W-9 form with my social security number on it, that it may effect me in the long run. I need help to ensure that I am safe. Again, I’ve never received any packages to my house or even any training. These events took place over a course of 1 week and a half. Please be aware. And I think too that they got my resume from Indeed.

Replied to an email that offered a job opportunity from recruiter "[email protected]" and received another email from HR urging me to apply to this position on their google cloud account (not their offical website). The job was receiving packages under my name for them and reshipping it to the addresses they provide and offered $800 a week after 30 days from the first shipment.. Seemed too fishy to me and after searching company's website, phone number etc; I have not been able to confirm the company information nor location except the website was built in Malaysia and there is ONLY one contact number for everything +1(215)717 7444 which noone answers... I believe this is a scam and hopefully this helps at least someone. Details are included in pictures

I was approached through e-mail with a job offer for Remote Regional Branch purchasing manager. They sent me several e-mails explaining how the company worked and some history of how it came to be. Claim was that the company is based out of Germany and has spread through out the globe. I just saw this same scam on this web site. Angela Meinhardt was going to be "my" supervisor and company contact. They explained how wages and commissions worked and that I would get plenty of training. Please see the other scam on here, its identical and long so I dont have to type all that out.. I have saved all correspondence. They ran a credit check on me and got a hold of my credit card information. I immediately locked my credit card accounts when I became suspicious. I will list the information they have given me: DOS ID 6778320, Incorp date 3-29-23, Entity type: Domestic Limited Liability Company. This was also listed as a remote position. I met this lady on indeed.com I was looking for a job well she hired me I sent her my id she checked my reference called my peoples everything so she sent me to a job to clean she was supposed to give me 35$ an hour the add said than dropped down to 22$ an hour n for me useing my supplies cleaners she was supposed to give me 40$ for the cleaners I worked for 5 hours n got a total of 20$ for the cleaners n that was it she never paid me for the job cleaning the house I worked hard she advertised as a cleaning company looking to hire people in the Phila area cause she’s from New York she says I did the job she spoke to the lady n now she doesn’t wanna pay me at at all she won’t answer the phone nor will she answer my text but she text me called me non stop before she n while I was doing the job o just wanna get paid for my time I think that’s fare she hired me as a cleaner I did my part now she should do her part n pay me for the work I did

I must have applied on Indeed.com, they followed up and gave me an online on board prosses, where personal info was taken. i was supposed to receive and send packages for$500 a week plus Bonuses by weekly. i got a call from Fedex Fraud department alerting me of the Scam.

I applied for a job on indeed and I received a detailed email long story short they offers 24.15 full benefits etc. I signed an employment verification form send a pic of my ID excluding personal details by editing the photo, and she also asked for a selfie with me holding up my ID next to my face then wanted my banking information asked me to send my account. And routing number threw email. Of course I didn’t send that I request that she send me my W2 information to fill out my self I haven’t received a response after that

Sent a offer of employment,which was signed services such as quality control and shipping were performed at own expense. Payments for services rendered and expense reimbursement not recieved. All log ins and passwords rendered invalid. No response from any contact information given.

I was contacted by a "Francis McGregor" about a remote home position where I would be receiving, storing, and shipping packages for the company. I filled out a W-9 form and gave them my social security number and personal address. I felt like it was a scam so I decided not to go any further, but I am worried they are going to do something with my SSN number.

Lady said she worked for comcast insurance plc. Said i needed to pay for time tracker software in order to receive my equipment for work then after sent me shipping info proceeded to make me pay another $52. At that point i caught on and laughed my butt off and told her nice try. Now she is threatening to sue me for false accusations.

They messaged me about a data entry clerk position from linkendin. Wanted me to do a test online (did not give any personal information.) Then messaged me the next day telling me that I have the job if I choose to accept and that they'd send me a check to get all the equipment that I needed for the job. The co-founder of the company that was supposedly supposed to hire me (heart genomics) was actually the co-found of a company called heart genetics.

I have been in search of a remote job. I recently received a message that stated “ Good day, I’m ******* ******* I'm contacting you in regards to your resume reviewed by our Company (CytImmune Sciences Inc) from Indeed. We’re excited to invite you to interview for the position of a Data Entry Analyst, working from home with a pay of $27 per hour. We would like to know if you’re Interested?” Since i had been on indeed these past few weeks i thought it was real, i looked up the company which was real as well. I then agrees and was sent this “ Thanks for your response. You‘ll be redirected to the HR manager for more information about the position and company. The job interview process will be conducted via Signal messenger which is free and easily attainable. Do you have Signal private messenger app?” After downloading the app I received this “ Great. You can now Search and begin a chat with the Interviewer on Signal private messenger saying “I’m ready for the interview”, by Using any of the details below. Name; ********* **** ****** ******* +1 323********* Let me know once you’ve sent a message, so I can provide you with an Interview code.” After receiving the code I went through an “interview process” where i was asked questions, told about the company, and they even used the companies website. I was then told at 8AM EST the following day that they would have my decision. That morning I woke up sent a message and was told I was given a Job offer. They then went over more specs of the company. I was also told that equipment would be paid for through a different vendor. What raise my red flags. What is that? They said because of the delay in their courier services the check will be sent through my email. I then asked how that will work and received no response
