I found this particular position, quality inspector for the company Shipfast LLC searching for jobs on one of the career builder sites. I submitted resume and even filled out 2 applications. I quickly received a call from Mike Bennett within a couple of days who was the interviewer. He explained job duties and payroll. I accepted and filled out direct deposit form. I was asked to send copies of my I.d and for security purposes they said I could blur out my id number so I did that . All I needed was a printer and a smartphone . Any supplies I didn’t have I was told I’d be reimbursed on my first check. Which by the way my first check would’ve been 2600 and paid $650 weekly after, so I lost money on supplies. I worked for a total of one month for these people receiving inspecting and shipping out many packages. I noticed this week I hadn’t received any packages and quickly wrote my manager, Carlos Comery with concerns. Also I’ve had a package for about almost 3 weeks and still have it . I realized Carlos wasn’t responding which was weird cause he usually responds quickly as he was guiding me. This morning I go to login to my dashboard like every morning and it’s said username and password were incorrect. I tried again using my computer and same thing happened . I then go to call Carlos Comery and the number has been disconnected. I proceed to email him. I then call the interviewer , Mike Bennett and I get no answer at all. I then email him from both email addresses I had received from him. Basically all this was a scam. I’m glad I didn’t give them my license number or social but I am a little worried because they do have my banking account number and routing.

I was looking for remote video editing positions on LinkedIn and came across a lead offering such services at Southport Inc.. Upon submitting my resume and portfolio, I received an email from somebody claiming to be a David Moore, instructing me to fill out a Google form of interview questions. After filling them out, I received an email a few days later from a different person named Ricky Gosnel congratulating me on getting the position, even though I never had a single virtual or phone interview. I guess I figured a phone/virtual chat was going to happen at some point. He then described the pay and benefits, which sounded great and that I would be receiving a check to buy an iMac Pro with HP printer and editing software. Next, I was contacted by someone from HR named Bernice Fletcher with an employment contract. It looked legitimate, like any other employment contract I've signed and so I signed it with a scanned copy of my driver's license. I never gave out any bank information, credit/debit card information, or my social security number. Then I started receiving text messages from Ricky that in order for me to receive the check to buy the work materials, I would need to provide my bank information, which was the final straw for me. I called and nobody answered and then texted them to call me, which never happened. I always figured it was a scam (I couldn't find any information on Robert, Ricky, or Bernice on LinkedIn and the website I found looked like it was thrown together with free software) but wanted to see where it went. It also doesn't help that this comes at a time when I'm looking for remote work so I can be at home with my kids more often.

Info about a job was posted on Facebook, I inquired about it and was given an interview thru an app called telegram. They sent me a job offer and asked me to fill out a W2 and I9 form. I did not fill out the forms. Then they started I would be sent all equipment needed for the job they asked if I had an active credit card for them to deposit company funds on so I could go buy prepaid cards to purchase the software needed.

I was contacted by this supposed company called " East Way Shipping. I was told my title would be " Supply Chain Operator". The company goes by the name East Way Logistics US LLC. The address that was given was to a Lock Smith building. They have been in business for 60 years at the same location. I have electricity signed and read this legit looking contract. The only information they have is my two emails, address, phone number, license with 3 blacked out numbers at the end and me with a picture of my license beside my head shot.

The job gave a fake address. Look up the address and with the ScamPulse.com in IL. I didn't give them any financial information thank the heavens. She also doesn't answer her number when you call, text, or return your calls.

I was offered a position for Date /clerk that was Remote. The company was Sirona Medical. I had an interview on Trillian App with Jenna Klockenbrink. I then was told I was hired and received and offer letter to sign. I also had a recruiter send me information about the company Sirona Medical with their logo. I assumed it was a scam when they were gonna mail me my office equipment and a check to pay the vendor to install it. When the said the were mailing me a check ( FEDEX) and I was supposed to cash it and give to money to the vendor. I knew it was a scam. I never gave them my SS number, however I had to send a copy of my ID and proof of residency for them to mail my office equipment.

They offered me employent and i found that their number was on this site with other people.

I was contacted via email by "Selina S." of Lust Perfume for a job offer. I was promised $2000 a month for creating a TikTok account for them and posting 2 videos a day. I have found over 40 accounts of others who were promised the same compensation (or ever more), customers saying they never received their order, and other creators who have said they were not paid.

I signed up for a work from home job. I was initially excited but I then became apprehensive because I never talk to any via phonevonly through Zoom messenger. The final straw was when the alleged company sent me a check and asked me to print it and deposit it in my bank account to pay for my working materials.

I received an email from Daniel Armstrong and was instructed to download Microsoft Team Chat, started the Friday which was a Thursday. I was given an assignment and on the second day was also given an assignment. On the third sat which was a Saturday I received a check that was from Hawaii and I was told it was for software and all equipment to set up office. I deposited the check and on Monday i was given an assignment and also has to send the bank receipt showing the check was deposited.h e knew funds would be available the next day when the next day cam i was to send 2 Zelle payment and 1 wire transfer. The same evening the bank came back and said check was returned because the acct was closed. I am out $3750 dollars once i sent them the copy of the notice from the bank they disappeared.

I found this job posting as a stocker/packer on Indeed. They contacted me maybe a week or so later wanting to do a phone interview with me and was automatically hired. They sent me a link to the website describing the job description and everything seemed 100% legit. They had me send in my information as far as my DL and a picture of myself with the DL. They even sent me out a W2 form to fill out more of my personal information which I thankfully never got around to sending that in. When it came to receiving the packages they started coming in very quickly! You unpackage the item double check it, Re wrap then take it to the shipping facility depending on who it came from. The first package was a “success”. When it came to shipping my second package I drove a whole 30 min to FedEx for them to tell me the shipping label was would not scan. I end up double checking the tracking No. on the label and it’s a fake! I call up the “managers” mind you they never answer the phones and I was told it was their system having an issue to just hold onto the package until they fix it. While this is all going on I’m still having the “HR” department calling me and asking if I’m looking for a job! Y’all guys just hired me a week ago and you already have my information, why are they calling me if I want a job?! They start sending more packages and expensive items as well. I even get to the point of calling these “customers” phone numbers on these packages to who they shipped out to to verify and come to find out they’re made up numbers and even addresses! I finally decide to email them and leave voicemails stating how I do not want any part of this and to stop sending me packages. They call me maybe 5 days later threatening me that they’re going to file a police report because I still have these packages and haven’t sent them out. I told them to do what they need to do at this point I have screenshots of everything just to leave me alone.

[11:52 AM] Mrs Diana Lynne

This is strictly work from home and virtual Position. When I said I'd prefer a video conference one, they  said Diana Lynne went offline

Applied for a job in indeed and was contacted via skype and interview was done, but no video. The company went by Medifast and kept asking me to use my own money to buy a "time tracker". Then they sent me a cashiers check for $3,000.00 with a letter. neither had a company name or address on the check or letter. They would not stop in asking me to cash the check and show a deposit slip. I refused and requested to speak with someone and they refused to provide any contact information. When I requested an address to return the check to they would not provide me one. when I told them I would report them and destroy the check they began to threaten me and tell me I don't want to due that or it will cause problems. I tried to search the employer on indeed but the posting no longer is up. I requested several time for them to provide me with an address to send this check back to, but they keep saying for me to cash it.

After going through the hiring process, Carol Brooks c/o ITF KARLENE J PARSHALL, emailed me a check for $4500. On January 13, 2023, Bryan Denmark wanted me to send $2000 to Deborah Andrews through PayPal. I have not completed this payment.

The issue is I applied for a job online they sent me an offer letter and told be they would send me a check to purchase the equipment today I deposited the check into my account via the mobile app the check cleared immediately then the people advised me to zelle the so called vendor 1000 but my bank wouldn’t let it go through then they asked me to cash app 500.00 but didn’t provide the cash app info once I realized it was a scam I contact the guy Micheal Keith via Microsoft teams and told him I’m aware that this is a scam and he hung up and blocked me via Microsoft teams.

I was initially contacted by Sasha Drago about a Publicity Assistant position with the MCS Group. I believe they found my email from job search websites that I used to post my resume and profile. I first needed to fill out a google form application and then was automatically sent an employment agreement and verification letter. Sasha Drago then called me to discuss next steps. My first assignment included paying an "advertisement agency" in which the company would send me a check that I needed to deposit into my account to pay the company directly. After doing some research, I found that the email used to contact me is not affiliated with the MCS group, there is no record of Sasha Drago working for the MCS group, and there was no record of Mark Davis (who was indicated to be the COO of the MCS group on my employment agreement and verification letters, including a signature that looks fake). I have attached a zip file with copies of all correspondence to this report.

I applied for a project coordinator position and received an immediate text message to schedule an interview for the next day. This interview was scheduled for 15 minutes. I was immediately offered a second round interview for 830 AM the following day. This interview was going to be 15 minutes again, in person at an office. The office was strange and had no one at reception. I was immediately given the opportunity to say what I needed from a position and was given a counter offer with scale of work and growth starting as a sales person (called account executive). I asked about the job description and it was ignored to focus on the compensation and base pay claims. At the end of the interview I was told to reach out when I wanted to start and the position was open.

The position was not at all what advertised. The description of account executive to campaign manager was straight forward and implied for all positions offered.

After the interview, I did some more research and I could only find their vague website. There was not more than a mission and vision. I could not find any reviews or social media outside of Linked In and Facebook.

I was very disappointed by this rush interview process, after the job description sounded perfect.
