You will be processing mail, testing all of them, and being sure that content is un-damaged. Indeed post job as a Shipping Agent Remote $3,500 monthly - $42,000 Annual - they made contact through email [email protected] provide some "legit" information about the job and made me to fill a form with basic information and then "you're hired" they used various phone numbers +1 833-42-8824/ +1 786-574-3063/+1 833-247-5293. I person called me for a 15min interview named Paul Weissman, his accent is like his from another language country, not american at all. The company name used is EZ SHIP LLC.

I applied for a Data Entry Specialist position on LinkedIn. The "owner" replied that they're excited to move further with the application process and provide a cover letter and salary requirements.

I had suspicions and declined the offer. The "owner" emailed the next day and ignored my refusal, stating that the Data Entry Specialist position has been filled, but will re-open in October 2023, and wanted me to start an Executive Virtual Assistant position next week, offering $700/week with a sign-on bonus of $850 after 50 hours worked. If accepted he wanted to conduct a quick virtual interview.

I replied to move forward with the offer. Still, he was "too busy" for a virtual interview, as he is in Ontario, Canada on a business trip, and emailed me basic interview questions instead. Once I replied with the interview answers, he provided a contract, and stated the following:

"We need to set up your home office before giving you access to my emails, expenses accounts, and other confidential resources. I've already discussed with our authorized distributor to make all the necessary office equipment available to you. You'll receive the equipment listed below:

1) Apple Macbook Pro 16" Core i9 2.4GHz 4GB 1TB Radeon Pro 5500M

2) HP Laserjet M577f Laser All-in-One Color Printer

3) Fellowes Proteus 125 Thermal & Cold Laminator, 12.5" Width, Putty (5709501)

4) Powershred MS-450Cs

The following software programs will be installed and ready for your immediate use once you receive the equipment:

1) BS 1 Professional Time Billing 2022.2 Norton ghost 20.1

2) Sage 3000 cloud 2022 (SAGE) US Patent Single User Pack

3) Microsoft 365 Home Premium Word, Power-Point, Excel, and Outlook

4) MyOB Business Essentials Pro

A comprehensive training video will be included in the package to guide you on how to utilize the software programs for your tasks. None of the program is complicated or hard to use, you'll find this to be so after watching the training videos. A time tracking app will also be installed so you can effectively keep track of your hours.

I've instructed my accountant to make funds available to pay the invoice so the distributor can deliver the equipment to you next week. However, the distributor advised that they're having their annual account audit at the moment. In order not to jeopardize their audit process, they are only accepting payments via money orders during the audit period.

For your first task, I will instruct my accountant to cut out a check from my other business account and mail it to you via FedEx to be delivered on Tuesday. The funds will also include your first week pay of $700. Once you receive the payment, you're to get money orders from a post office near you and mail it out to the distributor so they can proceed to deliver the office equipment to you within 24hrs of receiving payment.

Please confirm you'll be available on Tuesday to receive and deposit the check in your account so the funds can be available to carry out the task."

Fake shipping agent job from a job hiring website. contacted by an individual from a miami area code by the name of Paul Weissman of the HR Department. He sent over a google doc job questionnaire

I was applying for a job that a friend of mine got me hooked up with and the job was for data entry at LAC groups. So I answered allied there questions and they told me I got the job it was data entry I would be making $25 and hour and it was a stay at home job and I could work whenever I wanted. I had to send pictures of my drivers licenses and social security card. So I did because I thought it was a stay at home job data entry. Then they sent me a check for $2000 it was for the softwares I would need for my laptop computer they were going to send me. They wanted me to print off the check and mobile deposit it. But my mobile deposit wasn’t set up yet. So they told me I had to go to the store and buy Apple gift cards and steam gift cards and finally Sephora gift cards I spent a total of $2000 dollars all together on these gift cards and now I believe I was scammed because everyone is saying I got scammed. I’m afraid to even try to deposit this check because I don’t want them to get my bank information because they already got my drivers license and social security card. A girl I went to school with said it was a legitimate job that she works there. And now the person is saying there is a issue with 2 of the gift cards they won’t work

This company, which hired me as a Supply Chain Operations Manager through Indeed, used my information to open a business and register it with the IRS without informing me. They claimed to have already prepared all the necessary paperwork, insisting that I needed to visit the bank to open an account for the newly created business. They also requested my account information, including the routing number and account number.

This man calls me & says he's the owner of THRIVE LGBTQ and wants to know if I want to interview for a position I applied for on INDEED. He starts running down my resume and then asks me why I want the position. I immediately could tell from his approach and lack of professionalism & decorum that this was not legit and indeed a scam. I googled the organization while I was on the phone with the " owner ", to find countless others scammed by this fake organization. So I called the " owner" out on being a scam and told him to find another job. He got angry because he wasnt expected to be exposed, and started saying how I shouldnt care about what he does because it doesnt pay my bills. ( doesnt make sense, yes I know) Long story short, he angrily admitted to being a scammer and I immediately went back to my applied jobs to report the fake organization. Turns out they changed there name to Blessing an Dream ( doesn't make sense I know) They have 2 addresses: they claim to be in Columbus Ohio & Bartonsville, PA.

He tried to say through text message that the $900 were for a down payment and that the checks would be reimbursment and all that. I gave him the 600 after the checks were deposited but soon the checks were returned and the bank told me I was unfortunately victim of a scam

The scam was initiated via my college email address asking for applicants to a remote job as a virtual assistant making about $500/week working 4-8 hours. When I asked this doctor for the specifics about where he worked he told me he was in the ICU but yet he just said he was infected with COVID? There is no official business attached to the email offer or the text messages. I cannot even locate a doctor with that name. I knew automatically it was a scam but of course I was intrigued by the offer with my student bills!

I got a call about 3 weeks ago saying they found me on indeed . And at the time I didn’t think anything of it because I applied for so many jobs . Well they said they was global invest Florida llc the lady asked me about my work performance and told me that I would be answering phone calls , emails , and handling clients concerns . Well that was not the job at all ! They wanted to me to verify my identity on bitcoin cash app app and download a liberty x bitcoin atm app on my phone . They wanted me to send bitcoin currencies ! Also u can never reach anyone when u call it just keeps ringing all the phone numbers that I was provided with them do the same just rings no voicemail or anything . It will go to user busy, so right there I thought that was very odd . I think they are using this company and they are imposters! They are not American they are Arabic something definitely is not right . So watch out for this company please it’s not a legit company

I was on facebook and seen an ad posted by Stacey Graham Bradford concerning a work at home data entry position thru a company called Aramark Company. After she told me about the position and what all is entailed she told me to download an app called Telegram and she would have me connected with a Mrs. Lilly the hiring manager of the company. I went thru a bunch of questions that they called it an interview and she told me that I had the job. After all of that she told me I had to send $100.00 for the software programs that would be uploaded onto the laptop that they were going to send me. I sent the money via cashapp at first and it wouldn't go thru so they had me send it thru zelle thru my banking app. She told me that they never got it and they wanted more money well, thankfully I didn't have anymore money to send them. Today the hiring manager wanted to send me a check thru email and told me to keep $200 of the $1,450.00 and once it is sent they wanted me to do a mobile direct deposit. I told the lady no way! I just don't want anyone else to be scammed out of money.

This man harassed me 2-3 days straight while waiting at my daughters bus stop . He promised me that I could make up to $6,000 from passive income . It wasn’t until I invited him into my home that he told me he wanted me to be his sugar baby .. when I didn’t want to do what he wanted then he did not pay me , he changed the amount I would get for each sale to 75$ opposed to the 100$ he originally advised me . He said I would be making 25$ an hour . I believed & trusted him because why would someone lie ? But he did just to take advantage of me because he thought I was younger than what I actually was . He was supposed to help me pay rent get my daughter school clothes but he wanted me to have SEX with him to do this . I’m sure I’m not the only person he has scammed this way & it leaves the person hopeless . I left a job because I thought this would be guaranteed income & could help my situation but instead this has left me worse off than I was before . I have texts to prove everything but at this point, I just want everyone to know not to do business with this predator .

So I also had this experience from this person offering me a job. I kind of thought it was legit and then I received an offer fairly quickly. I just wanted to be sure. They didn’t asked me any personal information nothing I that wouldn’t already be in my resume. I just find it odd that the COO is contacting employees for hiring when that should be handle with the HR Department.

Signed a contract and they took id, it was odd that they would pay via paypal and venmo cashapp type payments. You could hear a rooster in the background which is odd for the middle of Sioux SD warehouse.

Looked like a friend posted a job and then did an interview and hired me. Then wanted me to go buy a $300 Apple Card to pay for installation it would be reimbursed. I said not tonight and they were persistent to go get it. It was then it became apparent it was a scam

I applied for a job for a Remote Online Shopping Assistant. I was contacted by a Jacob set up a Zoom call interview. On 7/27/23 at approximately 9:30 am we had the Zoom interview. I thought it went well. He was pleased with my experience and wanted to continue to verify my identity, complete the W2 tax forms through Docu-sign, and sent me an official offer of employment. I signed the acceptance form of the offer, with the understanding that it was NOT an employment agreement. He then sent me the link for the ID Verify IRS verification process. I had a great deal of trouble with that because I had forgotten that years ago I had opted in the site long ago. Know that he had already made for me a company email address, and he had already used that address in the link to confirm my identity on the ID Verify link. So the results would have gone to that email but I had not set up a password or anything for that email address yet, tho he had. On the 3rd of August, we had all forms complete except the actual employment agreement. The last text conversation I had with him I asked him what the next step was and he said I would be receiving a tracking number for the laptop and all equipment needed to begin training. The job was supposed to begin on 8/7/23 at 9:00 am. Needless to say, I have received no word, no tracking, and no equipment a week later. I have sent 3 texts with no answer. I have the LLC owners name and address and left two voicemails on his phone. It appears to be a landline. I have received no response. I will try to download from Docu-sign the terms of employment letter. It will not allow me to download the employment letter to a readable PDF for you. I will copy and paste here. I'm sorry.
