There was a post for a work from home job. I was instructed to download the Signal app to do an interview. I answered a few basic interview questions. When I went to to fb to read the message from the person who posted the job- the profile was deleted. I immediately deleted the Signal app.

Paul Francis contacted me via text Message about a position that I applied for on Indeed. I dont know how he got that information as I only apply to specific jobs and requested my resume not go to all employers but i'm being flooded with jobs from everywhere. He claimed the position I had applied had been filled but offered another available position. He asked me to follow a link to complete information for a background check. I thought it was legitimate- I sent him my name address and phone before I realized this may be a scam when I tried to reach out to the number he messaged me on and a recording stated the phone voicemail had not been set up. I texted him and asked him to call me to validate this is a real job and company. He called me this morning I have not heard back from him this evening. I dont know what he is going to try to do with my info but its a shame people can just take advantage of you like this and something needs to be done about fraud on a larger scale other than file a warning to others on the Better Business Bureau site. I will call and text him again to let him know that I have filed this report with the ScamPulse.com in hope that he will not try to use my info.

I was contacted via text and asked to do an interview on Teams. I "passed" the interview and was offered a job. They wanted me to buy software and hardware and I said that is the company's responsibility. The scammer agreed to send a check via email. The check was from San Agustin Realty Inc which was not the employer advertised. I printed the check as evidence and did not deposit it. I did not reply to the email nor respond to the last request for whether I accepted the "offer" on Teams. I exited the Teams application and deleted the email after saving a copy for evidence.

Texted, messaged further through Signal, gave name and address but when asked for further identification attempted to push the conversation forward, and did not respond or deflected questions when asking about confirming identity.

I received a text message offering me a stay at home job paying $700 /weekly. It said he found my information on Indeed online (a job search website) and there was a link for me to click to get more information about the job. I did not click the link so i don't know what was in the link

*Tourbase* aims to help tour operators maximize their marketing budgets and achieve their business goals in a positive and sustainable way. The main objective is to make their tour packages a popular choice and to gain more attention from consumers. My part was simply to assist the travel industry in leaving positive reviews for their packages. I had to complete 37 reviews a day in order to get commissions. I’ve put thousands into this to get commissions and I keep getting assigned “premium tours” with a higher commission rate but need a bigger investment first. I transfer money from my Bank account debit to the app Newton then it gets transferred into Crypto currency on their end then changed into USD coin. This whole thing may be completely legit but it’s hard to know for sure. If this isn’t a scam - it’s great for those who have access to $10,000 at any certain time but it’s not for those who don’t. If it is a scam then I’d really like to know how to get my money back…

First i applied through"Indeed Jobs" and this number contact it me the next day ?+44 7823 369267? said her name was elena. after that she said an agent would help me get started and her # was ?+44 7565 244204?. after she guide me, the job was to review 38/38 items and rate it 5 stars. she told me that i had to deposit money through Ethereum through an app called "Metamask" in order to finish the order and i can withdraw my commission. So i did. First day, i withdraw $140 to my bank. I thought great. it works. second day, im $3,920 in debt and negative from trying to finish the orders to get my commission. they claimed "YOU CAN ONLY WITHDRAW YOUR FUNDS ONCE YOU COMPLETE 38 ORDERS". the price of the last order skyrocket to $14,000. they told me I needed to deposit $9,000 in order to close it. so i got stuck at order #37. The tactics they used was "You can make over $1,000 a week guarantee of commission" and offer commission as payment. all part of a great scam that i felt for. They also have multiple people and faces they use to scam others. Such as **** ********, a news reporter.

in conclusion, i have proof, screenshots, conversations, and addresses to back up this experience. Thanks and hope i get help ASAP

I was contacted about a realtor assistant position at townscape. All the paperwork looked legit and the i took the position. She began to change my position over and over again. My training sesson was 14 business days and she made me work for 17 business days. During this time, Lisa Sallow, tried to get me to make multiple external account transfers. These were meant for me to help her launder money. After my 17 days were over, i asked to be paid the $2000 for training and Lisa Sallow never answered me again. All of the messaging was over whatsapp and the signs were there, but didnt trust my gut. I called her number muliple times after she stopped responding and the number wasnt connected anymore. We had muliple phone calls on that number so I know it did work. Watch out for Townscape reality and especially watch out for LISA SALLOW.

The scammer emailed me using my new boss' name as the subject, and then asked me to confirm my phone number. I gave the scammer my number and then they asked me to purchase 3 $200 ebay gift cards for a surprise employee gift.

I was contacted on WhatsApp with a job offer online. I asked how they found me, they said Us.gov jobs, which I had applied for, as I was looking for a job online. They then directed me to an instructor also on WhatsApp who said he would direct me on what to do and told me his name was Harvey. I have screenshots, and they are still actively recruiting people online. The guy training me said he was training a lot of people as he was slow to answer instructions on how to get the job done and get paid. The job that they say is not what it is, they don't say much, but they lead you to the next part and are persuasive for you to do this, then you will be done, they give you a bonus when you start, as they explain you need some real money to post the online products, then you get a package" which they say is rare, but they tell you later they don't know. So my account got negative, and they said now you need to add more money to continue, just do this and that, and send me a screenshot. Now my account is negative and they gave me 40 packages" While I was almost done with the second set of 40 products per day, only 5 Left before I could get all the money I put in when was negative to continue the job, then plus the bonus of the sale of the products and account balance once I get it done and put more money in. They were nice, and polite, and seemed like a normal job online, they said after I completed this 1 week of training they would explain to me about taxes, and I asked, how do I pay taxes on my income? and also some other questions, so they kept telling me they would explain it all once the week was completed, and how to do it, and not to worry about it. I have all the information and screenshots. I had to contact my bank to cancel everything to see if I could get my money back somehow.

sent an email about a fake job offer. $40 an hour customer service representative. was told i am receiving equipment to work from home and that id have to pay for the equipment then receive a sign on bonus to reimburse me for the money spent on the equipment. When i searched up the hiring manager that contacted me , their job description was completely different and had no ties to this fake company. They used an app called signal to conduct an interview through text which is crazy. Then sent me a fake employee information email. Didn’t give me a start date or an appropriate offer letter for the job position.

Approached about a job offer, customer service representative. They actually sent an offer letter and everything. Contacted me first through email, then zoom. This account is using an actually business with a fake email and even posting fake job opportunities. I ended up emailing the company’s customer service that I found on the website. I quickly received a email back stating the email address and the zoom contact was fake. I couldn’t find any information online about it being a scam, but it seemed off to me.

I posted my resume on the Career Builders job site for Data Entry jobs on 1/2/2024, I was contacted via text message by Mrs. Chloe Evans stating she was head of the recruiting department at the company (EnPro Industries), and that she was contacting me in regards to my resume that was sourced from career builders. She said, "I have been listed for an online interview session for a work-from-home job position of a Data Entry Specialist, and asked me to kindly reply back to the message with "YES I AM" to find out about the position, pay scale, and full details about the company. I replied back as asked, then I received another text three hours later from her that said, "NOTE: This is a full-time online work-from-home position whereby all duties are done remotely. It's 6-8 hours daily, 30 - 40 hours weekly with overtime available. Working hours are also flexible...The pay rate is $35 hourly, You will also be paid $28 hourly during the training session. Then she stated, she believed I didn't have a problem working from home. I replied, Correct, I have no problem working from home. I asked about the training, benefits, and the equipment required. She replied back an hour and a half later and said, "Training will be done and conducted online for a week with the company's supervisor and yes the company will also be making provision for working materials to get started. You will be given a glimpse of the amazing benefit package we offer during the course of the interview/job briefing. I replied, "Sounds good." Ten minutes later she sent a text saying, "The interview/job briefing will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams, there you would get to know more about the company and what the job entails, which would be an IM interactive question/answer session. You are required to get in touch with the hiring manager, Mr. Greg Willis now for more information about the job and company. and she asked if I had Microsoft Teams app to get started. I downloaded the Microsoft Teams app to my phone but did not sign into it because my intuition was telling me not to, so I uninstalled the app. I had been hacked by a Microsoft scam before, so I didn't trust it, then I started researching the company, and the names she provided me and the number she called from and could not find any info on them, and the hiring manager, and head of recruiting for EnPro was not matching their names, so I decided to check BBB. After finding out theirs a scam going on with this company's name. I decided not to respond back to Mrs Chloe Evan's last text.

I was texted by Johnson Taylor about a work at home job for the Eneos Group. He had me do a team chat on Zoom with Michel Rocha. I was sent a check for $9800.00 dollars. Michel Rocha did not want to wait till the checked cleared and canceled the check and sent me 2 checks to put in my account, which cleared the next day. Then she had me used PayPal or Cash app to send the money to Dani Adams for an Apple Mac Pro laptop to have the programs installed that I would need for my job. Then the first 4 check sent to me the canceled and caused my account to be overdrawn. My husbands social security check and my unemployment checks went to the overdraft and my condo fee has been returned so far that is the only payment I made that has been returned. I did try contacting the Eneos Group but have not heard anything. I do have all documentation from the first FedEx check sent to me to zoom chat, PayPal and Cash app and emails.
