While on Facebook, i clicked on an add for Dick's Sporting Goods sale on drinking cups. My bank fraud department contacted me to inquire if I attempted the transaction. I didn't pay attention to the name of the company because i did initiate the transaction. Before i could think about the discrepancy, I I replied Yes. I have not received tihe product and I do not have a confirmation email.  I became suspicious after receiving an email from Meta stating that a new payment method was added to Meta Pay and that your Visa · 9597 has been securely saved. You can now use this payment method with Meta Pay to make purchases, send money and donate to the causes you care about across Facebook and Messenger. I know that I did not add my debit card to facebook and that the only trandaction done was to Dick's Sporting Goods so this was suspicious.

Invalid website on instagram popped on feed. Showed as a Dicks Sporting Goods advertising Stanley Cups for $19.99. After purchasing 2 for $41.98 I did not received a confirmation email. I went back and looked and it was not Dicks Sporting Goods. I tried contacting through the email, no response. I was able to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

I Googled an item I wanted to find. Dick's Sporting Goods came up in the results, so I clicked on the website: dicks-sportinggood.com, which I now know is the scam site. The legit webiste is dickssportinggoods.com. After I ordered my item, paid with my credit card, I expected a confirmation email. Instead, I recieved an email saying I still had items in my cart. I was confused, so I clicked on 'see my cart' in that email and I was taken to my transaction that stated was actually complete. This inconsistency made me wonder what was going on, so I started investigating and found the REAL Dick's website and engaged with a chat customer service person. She confirmed there was no order and that the website I purchased from was NOT Dick's. I immediately contacted my bank/credit card company and placed a dispute for the pending charge and had a new card number issued and the old card number cancelled. I have to wait a certain amount of time for the FRAUD company to respond to the dispute before the bank will close the dispute. I hope that this will get resolved in my favor, so at this time, I do not know if I've lost money or not.

Didn’t realize the domain name was suspicious until after check out. The domain was dick-sportinggood.co (not .com) and the name on my bank account charge is zeactrade.com then some numbers after that. The scammer is impersonating Dicks Sporting Goods

- Evansville, IN, USA

Add was seen on Facebook during Black Friday. Scam posed as Dicks Sporting Good and sold products. Money was taken from my account but I never received product. Shipment tracker shows “delivered” but it was not. Website is now down and the company will not respond to emails.

- Belle Vernon, PA, USA

This was an advertisement for a stanley 49 iz tumbler.

- Belmont, MI, USA

There was a sale listed by Dick’s sporting goods on my FB page I clicked into it and ordered a Stanley water bottle. I paid $25.98 through Apple Pay then got an invoice from Zaech Ltd saying I paid $25.98. The amount went through on my bank account. I have not received the item and the “Zaech ltd” company does not exist.

- Rialto, CA, USA

It was an ad for Dick's sporting goods clearance/sale for Carhartt

- Jackson, MS, USA

Someone or company is pretending to be Dicks Sporting Goods advertising a sale of super cheap Nike shoes ($19). They use the dicks sporting goods photo but the website is different. There is no seller/merchant phone number or contact information. Only information on the site is Nike's policy. The website is zbghj.com. No i didnt not put any of my card information in because i compared it to the actual sporting goods website and they do not have the same sale or prices as that fake website letting me know it was not a sale by Dicks Sporting Goods. I am reporting this to hopefully help get the site taken down to prevent future fraud and loss of money from customers.

- Littleton, CO, USA

They ran an ad on Facebook and I clicked on it. They were having specials on shoes and I bought two pair.

- Cedar City, UT, USA

I ordered Hoka shoes and never received them. After emailing them, I was given a tracking number and it showed them delivered in Florida which is 2000 miles from where I live. Then I was told that they would reship and to be patient. The shoes were never received.

- Leesburg, VA, USA

Saw a pair of pink converse for sale at what looked exactly like a Dick’s spring store ad. Clicked through to site and purchased the shoes. After a month I used the tracking link to see why they hadn’t arrived yet and clearly coming from China. The charge was made by “stillrely” and shipping tracking was through “CustomerCare-VIP“. They had a chat feature online that is part of the tracking and i made several attempts to get a refund after visiting my post office to inquire with them but the Chiba company chat just kept saying they shipped the package to the address i provided and i need to take it up with the post office.

Popped up as an ad on Facebook which lead to a ‘Dick Sporting Goods’ site looked exactly the same proceeded to order and a got a confirmation with no tracking number. Weeks have went by with one email I’m communication that gave me a fake tracking number. Now the previous website goes to a shein look a like site
