much like the others posted to this site, i made a purchase on 6/3 and got an email immediately stating that my package had been shipped, the day prior. finding this odd, i sent an email to the fake email address that was provided. i click the tracking link that was sent and some page opens up with chinese writing. of course, i don't read chinese so i realized this wasn't good.

I thought i was ordering shoes that would be delivered. I've waited 3 weeks now and i have contacted the email address that was left on the bottom of their website and asked where my order was. I got no reply and i have yet to receive my package for order number ''1017shop2024060231952710''

I thought i was ordering shoes that would be delivered. I waited and after a while i contacted the email address that was left on the bottom of their website and asked where my order was. I got a reply the next day saying they needed a screen shot of the processed payment that was sucessful in order to look up my order. I then get an email days later saying the package was delivered and signed for. When i asked who signed for it or when was it delivered they gave me some track your order link to click. I clicked on the link and some website pops up in chinese writing but says it was delivered to the addressee. I emailed them back and again mentioned my package was never delivered and i have a ring camera and no delivery was made ro my address at the time they said it was delivered. Just to be sure i reviewed the camera from the day before and after they claim it was delivered. I then demanded a copy of the signature that supposedly signed for the package. I wait for an email back and they tell me to ask my neighbors, family members or local postal service company because it was signed for and delivered. I then email them stating i reviewed my ring camera and nothing was ever delivered and asked who delivered the package? What company delivered it so i could contact them. No response, ive asked for a phone number to contact instead of emailing back and forth and i get nothing!

After clicking on a Facebook ad for athletic shoes for $29.99, I saw that this vendor created a website pretending to be Dicks Sporting Goods (DSG) and used their logo. However, they were using the website <www.dicksportingsneakers.com>. This website fairly convincingly copied the style of DSG. They were appearing to sell shoes marked down from about $160 to $29.99. I looked up the website domain name and saw it was just created about 1 month ago on May 24, 2024 and is registered to a PO box in Colorado, not in Coraopolis, PA where the real Dicks Sporting Goods is located.</www.dicksportingsneakers.com>

Ad appeared on Facebook advertising 80% off On shoes to clear out warehouse. Said sale ends in 1 hour. Used Dick's sporting good logo. Confirmation email appeared as Dick's sporting goods but email was a fake. No phone number was given for questions, just a fake email.

This sponsored page popped up on my Facebook ads for Dicks sporting goods with their official logo and everything. The website was not the same as Dicks but it said it was a warehouse sale so I figured it might have had a different URL. After placing my order I received a confirmation email. I realized a few days later I ordered the wrong size so I emailed them to ask if it was too late to change sizes in my order. They responded a week later saying “of course just send us the size you need and we’ll change it for you” then I haven’t heard anything from them. I have emailed 3 times since to the customer support email that was provided in my confirmation email and I haven’t gotten any information. The Facebook page is now deleted and no trace of them through a web site.

As I was shopping for merchandise online on January 9, 2024, an ad from Dick’s Sporting Goods was in my feed advertising the merchandise I was shopping for. I clicked on the advertisement and went to the website, which looked 100% legitimate—graphics were identical, and the website also looked legit. I purchased merchandise totaling $53.98 and used Apple Pay to pay for the merch. When I later looked at my bank account, a company called Zaech Belfast North in Ireland with Mr. Chuan Zeng listed as chief officer withdrew the money. Their listed address is Suite 9006 Moat House 54 Bloomfield Avenue

Dicks Sporting Goods had a Black Friday sale ad show up on my Facebook. I ordered 2 items for the sale price of $36 shown on my receipt but $43 was withdrawn from my account and it was from “Neecloth Hong Kong” and not Dick’s Sporting Goods. I immediately reached out to them via contact info listed on my receipt. They insisted they were a legit company and my order would be arriving within the listed time frame. Several emails later (and long after the expected arrival time) this company said there was an error with postage fees and it was returned to sender so they would be willing to reimburse me 80% of what I paid. I insisted this was unacceptable and told them I was aware this was a scam and would be reporting them. Their website is no longer accessible.
