Ordered western sweater listed as “made in Montana”. Tracked order and found it was coming from Spain. When it arrived the material was more like tee shirt material than a sweater and the colors were very washed out. Poor quality and not as advertised.

I ordered 4 crystal mugs that turned out to be plastic when they arrived. I reached out to the customer service and stated I wanted a full refund for this scam. They replied with an offer of 15% to offset the expense and time for the return. I refused and received a ‘final offer’ for a 25% refund. The return address seems to be bogus. I may accept thee 25% refund just to save the hassle of fighting back and forth or trying to return this package to Vietnam. Scam - Buyer beware!

Product advertised was a natural mineral mug. The product I received was a plastic chemical smelling mug that looked nothing like the product advertised.

I was navigating Facebook and click an announcement on the upper right corner.

A pop-up window appeared along with a recorded woman's voice saying something like "Don't attempt to shut down your computer. Dial the Microsoft number that appears in the window".

I was very nervous, so I did and a woman with Indian accent picked up, saying she was going to help me to regain control of my computer and direct me to someone that was going to install a software for protection, and the cost was $155.00

I said yes. Then I gave these people control of my computer, and they installed the software "for protection". At the moment I didn't suspect it was malware and spyware.

Then they asked me my credit card number to charge $155.00

Next day they called me to say they were going to give me a refund of $100.00 because my computer was new, but to do that they installed a software called IBS or Intelligent Bank System. After that they made me type $100.00, but instead of this amount, it appeared on the screen $2000.00.

Then they gained access to my bank account, and it appeared a transaction as "Microsoft refund, $2000.00"

They said it was a mistake and that I had to give them the money back.

Then they prompted me to use Western Union, and the person tried to transfer to his account the 2 thousand unsuccessfully.

He tried 3 times, but he couldn't.

At that moment I hanged up the phone and turned off the computer. When I checked my balance on the phone, no transaction for 2 thousand dollars was ever done, no money in or out.

Then I googled their phone number, and it never appeared.

When I realized it was a scam, I felt so gullible and naive, but I took steps to fix the problem.

I had to do a factory reset and reinstall the good software.

Then I went to my bank and closed the account.

And freeze my credit on the 3 credit bureaus.

I filled up a form of the DMV to report the scam.

So far this is what I have done. Thank you for reading. I hope it helps.

I bought bags from a merchant on facebook called Graces bags which were from a couple making hand made bags and after 34 years were going out of business. I paid thru PayPal. As I was waiting for delivery, I saw these were coming from China. I was under the impression they were made in America. I still have not received them and upon investigation, I see others have also had issues with this “company”.

It was a case of false advertisement. My daughter ordered what she thought was a small engine model kit. The advertisement showed it being put together and had moving parts. When the packaged arrived it was a hunk of plastic with a very bad spray paint job to try to look like an engine.
