Leo (the scammer) called me and said that he was from a collection agency trying collect a past due medical bill for $1200. the medical company was Monarch Psych Services (he also shared their address and phone #). The name of the person they were trying to reach was close to mine and they had the last 4 digits of my ssn. the scammer gave me all the fake patient's information, 28 year old male, dates of service, and the fake patient's address. I told them it wasn't me and to dispute the claim. I NEVER gave them any personal information. I reached out to the medical practice and they said they don't use any debt collection agencies. I also added a "watch claim" to my identity protection company.
