Scammer called stating she was from Con Edison. Had access to my name, service address, current amount due, and account number and meter number. She was telling me that I needed to call a "billing supervisor" to prevent account shut off and that there was no confirmation for my payments. I refused to take the number as this flagged as a scammer.

Scammer called me from 929-677-5318 and said that I had a billing flag on my Con Edison account. I was told to call 1-800-292-9860, extension 110 to resolve it. Before calling, I checked my account online and saw that I had a zero balance and my account was paid in full. I called the number and provided my name, phone number and address. The gentleman put me on hold, then came back and said I had a red flag on my account and that my power would be shut off in the next 35 minutes if I didn't make a payment. He then asked me who I bank with, at which point I told him that this is a scam and hung up.
