You can look up accident reports and get a car rundown using a cars VIN. They charge you $1.00. No where on the website does it say a reoccurring charge for $29.95 monthly. It is a bait and switch scam. You cannot cancel the plan, they tell yo to email them-no response. The phone line is a scam. Rings once goes to busy tone. They continue to debit my account and I have n pray to cancel the charges.

They promise you to give you car facts and say they’ll only charge you $1. They subscribe you to their “service” without you even knowing. They’ll charge $29.95 after 1 week and when that payment goes through. They’ll charge the same amount again.

I used vinseeker.com for a vehicle that I was interested in buying. I paid the $1 for the vehicle information report. Today, I noticed that my credit card was charged for a service I have not used since the initial $1 transaction. Do NOT use vinseeker.com unless you want to be scammed.

I was in process of making a final decision on buying a used vehicle and wanted to find out as much information as possible and came across this website offering to provide a history report of the VIN Number for a $1 trial period. I made the purchase and entered the VIN number and when I received a report with no data at all I realized I had a typo. When I re-entered the VIN it returned with a prompt asking me to subscribe again for a $1 trial period, which I did not do. So I assumed the trial was just to look up one VIN since it indicated I did not have an account and forgot all about it. About a week or so later I kept getting daily notices that a $29.95 charge was declined to update my payment method. Eventually after about 5 or 6 attempts the funds were deducted from by account for a monthly dealer subscription that would allow me to look up 30 VIN numbers per month. I immediately contacted them via email and requested the account me canceled and a refund to be issued for the prepaid subscription I would not use and did not authorize. They did cancel the account but refused the refund, of which I disputed based upon a state legislative code on buyers rights to cancel prepaid subscriptions and rights to receive refunds for any indebtedness of services not received. After several more back and forth emails I received notice that they investigated the erroneous billing and processed a refund to allow 5 - 10 business days. I waited until business day 12 with no funds credited to my checking account before following up with them. A few minutes later I received a Mail Delivery Subsystem email stating my message was not delivered with listing error code 550 5.2.1. Which states "The email account that you tried to reach is inactive - Disabled User". I then attempted to dispute it with PayPal who also denied a refund stating "Based on the merchant's response and the information we have to date, we have denied your case." I guess my documentation of a email confirmation that they were refunding me means nothing.

I searched online for a Vin report. On the Vinseeker website it appeared that they only charge one dollar for a report but, it turns out they charge 29.95 a month without any notice during the one dollar transaction. If so, it is intentionally hidden

I did not signup for a subscription

I paid $1 in order to receive a copy of the appraised value of my condo. Three months later I realized they were charging me $20 per month for a subscription service I never signed up for.

This website pretends to generate car history reports. They charge 1$ for the report and then automatically sign you up for a 30$ / per month subscription without informing you. You also have no way to cancel this subscription through the company. They also will never give you the car history report that you paid for because they are unable to generate car history reports. It is a scam website that cannot generate or do anything at all. It's like giving money to a mosquito or a ladybug. Please do something about this scammer website.

This website sells vin reports for 1$ but then begins charging a monthly 50$ fee without any clear consent. The report is not as throughout as they would lead you to believe with very generic information. They charged me for three months before I caught on and they don't have a clear process for cancelling "your account". All in all, very much a scam.

I logged onto the website to look up a vin number. The service was billed as $1. I received a $29.95 charge to my credit card. I immediately contacted them, cancelled my subscription and they acknowledged cancellation. They continue to bill me.

- Spring Hill, TN, USA • Oct 21, 2024

initially agreed to $1 VIN report, since then I have been involuntarily charged $30 monthly even after multiple attempts to cancel subscription, no matter how many times you cancel you will keep being charged $30 monthly, phone number listed on website does not work and support email address does not exist/work, no way to contact, and the cancel subscription button on their website does nothing, you will continue being charged

Purchased a one-time VIN report for a used car. Did not sign up for membership but was enrolled anyways and have been charged for 3 months now of $29.95 each. I have emailed their customer support multiple times and now the email bounces back ("Address not found. Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] because the address couldn't be found or is unable to receive email."). I have called their support phone number several times but it states that the number is not in service ("The person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time."). And have used their website chat service multiple times with promises that the membership will be canceled and the money refunded but not results.

Ventured onto "Myperfectresume" website and utilized a PDF converter, and only realized 7 months later in October 2024 that a monthly $34.95 CAD was being withdrawn from my AMEX card. There was no email notification of the initial charge or transaction. When I contacted the site, the chatbot acknowledged the error then asked for the credit card information to "refund". In the process the chatbot attempted to broker a lesser charge (around $4/mth) for use of the site. I noted that I was going to record our chat and have since notified my credit card of the charge and to context the $279.60 that's been charged from March - October. I wanted to advise the ScamPulse.com of the fraudulent site.

The website is deceptive. I paid for a one time PDF conversion and they signed me up for monthly billing of 49.95 through PayPal. I was billed twice before I found out. There was no billing notice sent out. I asked for a refund and was only reimbursed one payment. These type of web services should send some form of a bill in an email before taking the money. This is a scam.

There’s no support service to answer any issues, during checkout there was no mention of a subscription but after the one time purchase of a low quality item you get charged $30 monthly.

- Mckinney, TX, USA • Oct 03, 2024

I ordered a vin report for $1 as advertised and have been charged regularly $29.95 on a recurring basis. I tried contacting them with no success.

VIN Seeker draws you in by offering a one time VIN Number report at $1. What they do not tell you anywhere is that as soon as you enter your debit card for the $1 fee, they sign you up for a monthly subscription without your approval. My bank and I have been fighting these charges for 7 months. VIN Seeker has had to refund me multiple times but continues to charge me $29.95 every month or sometimes two times a month even though I do not have an account. Chase Bank has had to fight them repeatedly. I had to change my debit card to get them to stop and they still pushed charges through. When you reach out to their support team they never respond. If you call, you either only get a rapid busy tone or they just hang up on you when you are transferred to an agent. If you email their support email address. they never respond and if you try and start a customer service chat on their website, the agent never responds. They are a scam and should not be in business.
