Did an interview on signal app with a supposed hiring manager named Ellen Milligan. Stated I was hired to work remotely. Sent me tax documents and job description document to sign. Sent check to my home to cash in my name with my bank to use to purchase working equipment. Check was labeled out of citizens business bank and from California inland empire council. Checked with my bank and they said the check looked basically perfect but from my story it was fraud. I contacted cali inland and they said no check was made to me with that amount and it was fraud.
