I received an email from the fake CRA stating they sent me an INTERAC e-Transfer in the amount of $500, and that I must go to https://apps.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/fppp/mypymnt/pub/ntr.do and fill out the refund online form. The real CRA's website give examples of these fake refund online forms.  Scanned email is uploaded to this posting.

A man, speaking very good English, left a phone message saying I must call back at 855-888-5928 or suffer the consequences.

I found this message on my machine: "There is a lawsuit against your name for tax fraud ...... Call us back at 844-434-9878 or you will face all the legal consequences. Have a good day".

I received this bogus CRA email in my inbox. It requests I click on link (https://apps.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/fppp/mypymnt/pub/ntr.do) to receive my bogus $701.52 CAD tax refund. The link takes me to a very convincing-looking page.

I came home to find a phone message informing us that a lawsuit had been filed against us for tax evasion and I should get my lawyer to call 855-881-8196. I presume this is a scam.

I'm receiving very scarry calls from a CRA scammer saying my assets frozen tomorrow and their attorneys would be coming for me if I didn't call this number 613-366-3275.

On June 4, 2016 at 8:05am i received a call. It was a recorded message stating the person was from Canada revenue. there was a problem with my account and if i did not call their number immediately they would refer the problem to their lawyers. i did not call the number - just hung up.

I got a call from 250-383-6894 (Sprint Canada) demanding I call back immediately to discuss my tax payments to CRA. The call-back number is 855-204-0778.

My mom and I received a distressing call from a Criminal Revenue Service with regards to our taxes. We were told our SINs were red-flagged, and we were under serious investigation. The call ended rather strangely with the man saying: Have a blessed day!

I got one of those scam CRA calls threatening they were going to take me to court and sue me and freeze all my assets. This guy couldn't even speak English. He called from 844-553-1075.

I got a threatening message from 844-553-1704. Caller demanded payment or else a tax debt collector will come to my door, and garner my wages and put a lien on my assets.

I'm receiving CRA scam calls from 844-553-1074 and from a Sprint Canada number saying if I or my lawyer didn't call back, I would face legal action.

I received a recorded message at 7:35AM from 844-553-1703. I was told "this is an important message". I have an outstanding debt with CRA, and if I didn't get my lawyer to call back, I'd face legal consequences.

I've been inundated with calls from the Tax Fraud Department of Revenue Canada, sometimes from a woman with an English accent, sometimes from a man with a thick foreign accent.
