Scammer called from phone number 1-678-142-92359 saying he was from the Bray Institute. He asked "Can you hear me ", which I replied "YES". He then asked "The reason I am calling is because you have been identified as someone in the past experiencing back, shoulder or neck pain". He then asked "Are you experiencing back, shoulder or neck pain now?" Which I replied "NO". He then immediately hung up. I then realized I may have been a victim of the Can You Hear Me Now" phone call scam.

I just received this phone call now and wanted to immediately get this alert out to potential victims! I will be monitoring for any suspicious credit card charges. Since this just occurred a few minutes ago I cannot answer "YES" to the question "Did the victim lose money?

I received a call where there was static at first and then a voice came on and asked me : " can you hear me now ?"

I stupidly said YES and then the person asked me if I had shoulder or knee pain. I said no and told that caller not to contact me again. I am afraid the damage has been done since I then remembered about the can you hear me scams on the phone. What also seems fishy is that the phone number showing on my phone has 1 digit more than the normal phone numbers

I was called by a unknown number. When I picked up they asked "Is this (my name)" to which I said yes then they hung up.

This number called me and asked if I could hear them. I fear it is a scam trying to get you to say yes so they have your voice recorded and will use it.

- Hampton, GA, USA

I received previous phone calls from multiple states and did not answer because of fraud concern. I decided to answer because they would not stop calling. When I do answer it is a robocall. She states my warranty on my car is going to expire and I need to speak with a specialist immediately. Then they ask do you want to speak with a specialist? I intended to request they put me on DNC registry and said yes to transfer me to a specialist. They hang up immediately. I then find out a recent scam is to get you to say yes so they can use your voice to make purchases etc. using your credit information they probably already have.

- Buford, GA, USA

A lady called stating she was from a "Breast Cancer Foundation" with a request to raise money for the organization. She stated that there were three levels of donations that could be given and described the dollar amount associated with each. She kept repeating," Can I trust that you will be sending this money back?" Knowing this was unusual, I did not respond and hung up, but each time she asked the phone went quiet as if it was recording. Beware of this Atlanta number as I believe this is part of the "Just say Yes scam."

- Buford, GA, USA

They called saying they had the opportunity to reduce my credit card interest down to 6.9% saying they are my credit card company. They asked me to dial "1" to talk to a real person. Their first question was "Did you receive a call for the low interest offer" and I said "Yes" and in my mind I knew this was a scam i heard on the news. Do not respond to this call!
