I received a phone call from 678-469-1112. This was a local number so I answered. A woman's voice starting speaking after I said hello. "I had stayed at their resorts." "I was going to win a vacation." The voice stated "Sorry, I was having a problem with my headset." It was a recording attempting me to say "yes."

This person identified himself as Joe, said the call was being recorded and asked if I could hear him OK. I had answered the phone as "Yes" so that concerns me since there is a scam going around where they record you. I told him if he was a marketing call we're on the no call list and to not call back. He said thank you and hung up.

Called several times, never left a message. I finally answered, but never said anything. The person never said anything that I could hear clearly, but I finally heard a jumbled, "is this so-and-so?" In the background, I heard another person saying to their "customer," "this is ___ with XYZ... can you hear me?"

A caller called on one of our company's direct phone lines to the owner (direct lines are on our website) and said: "Is this [name]?" "Is this [business name]?" Getting us to answer "YES" to both, and the owner did...

We checked the incoming call log and got the number, which is a 645 area code and is in Mexico according to the Area Code google check. The caller had accented English, and was definitely NOT from South Georgia!

We checked our phone settings to be sure that out-bound international calls are blocked.

I dont remember the company, but he went on to say that he saw that i recently inquired about medicaid benefits.
