Answering the phone, a female voice asks "Is ______ (my first name) there? After a pause, it repeats, obviously a recording trying to record me saying "Yes"

I just received a phone call from the above number. The caller side he was Josh from Customer Service at...then he said "can you hear me" and unfortunately I didn't realize what it was until after I said yes. The recording then went on to tell me I had won a Disney vacation...this is when I hung up.

My wife answered the call from this number, guy stated his name which was probably fake and then immediately asked "can you hear me" she said "yeah" and then he went on about how she won a free vacation, she then hung up. She called back and other said "sorry your offer has expired"

When I answered the phone, the man on the line asked "Can you hear me?" I answered, "yes", and then he continued to talk about a vacation. I hung up because I had heard about this scam, but it was too late.

Can you hear me? Trying to sell vacation time in Orlando. I said yes to the can you hear me question. I am so scared it is going to cost me! I also said I never stayed in Orlando and hung up. The person kept talking so I think it was a robot.

Sounded like a real lady. I said hello? She said 'Hello?' I said 'Yes?'. She said 'oh I'm sorry. I'm having trouble with my headset. Because you've stayed at one of our resorts in the past, you've been selected to receive 75% off..." I hung up realizing I had been duped by the "Can you hear me?" scam. No money taken yet. Will be watching my accounts.

The scammer called introducing herself as someone from "customer service" and asked if I could hear her. After I said yes, she went on to say I was eligible for a free cruise.

Unknown local number called, answered as I was expecting call from doctor, she said hello this is Emily from Customer Service, can you hear me okay? I didn't think twice and answered yes, then recording went on to say I'd won a trip or been preselected for a trip. I yelled to stop calling me and hung up. As soon as I got to work about 25 minutes later, I placed a fraud alert on my credit.

The phone rang and I said hello, the person said "hello this is Bob from the Customer Service department, can you hear me ok?" I automatically said "Yes". And then realized that I had heard about scams where people ask you a "yes" question to record your "yes" to get into your accounts, credit cards, etc. I immediately hung up, but I had already said yes to the question. I will have to watch my accounts. But wanted to report the phone number-- 404-566-8041. Right after I said yes, they said you have an opportunity to win a Disney Cruise if you participate in a survey. At that point I hung up. I also figured out that the voice on the phone was a recording, not a real person.
