On several occasions, most recently on 2/11/17 at approx. 3:45 p.m. a female caller from a local area code has called and after answering, she says oh, can you hear me, I am having problems with my headset. I have hung up and not heard the remainder of her scam.

Received a phone call from 804 665 9484 on Thursday, February 9 around 3:45 PM. I answered hello, voice on other end said, " Hello, this is Josh from Customer Service, can you hear me okay?". I immediately hung up without responding in any way, as I had heard reports on the local news about this crammed scam. I usually do not answer calls from phone numbers I do not recognize, but did answer this call because caller ID showed area code 804 which is area code for Richmond VA area where I actually live.

Scammer called on Feb 06, 2017. Call was from the area where I just moved from so I answered it. There was silence, then he asked "can you hear me now ". I answered "sure". When I realized it was a recording, I hung up. Then I called the number back to see if it was a real number. Another recording stated that the offer was over and if I wanted to opt out on future offers to punch 9. This I foolishly did. Call was from Virginia Beach, VA. #757-453-2118

I have received this same call three different times but it was only after seeing the pertinent scam alert on TV that I decided to record any ID info I could if I received the same call again. Only a few days later the same call came in (Feb. 3, 2017, 11:46 A.M.) and I only stayed on the call long enough to (loudly) respond "scam" when asked "Can you hear me?" The only ID info I could retrieve is that the incoming call was from Henrico, VA and the phone number was 804/234-2356.

Called with volume very loud, asked if I could hear him & then went into a spiel offering vacation tickets. Quickly hung up call after initially responding, "yeah, but you're loud as hell" due to urging of husband. News has reported scam recently where you are recorded saying Yes & the scammers go on to open accounts & such in your name due to this being the "permission" you have given.

I received a phone call from 757-453-2735 where an automated voice recording said that they were calling with an important message from my health care provider and then asked, "Can you hear me okay?" I did not reply and hung up. About 2 hours later, the same number called again and I answered it, but did not say anything. It hung up on it's end.
