I received an email stating;

Dear *****,

I wanted to personally thank you for your interest in British Airways. We received your application and think you would be a great addition to our Airport Operations Team. We are currently expanding operations here at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and believe your desire to explore new opportunities and your eagerness to learn will equal success with British Airways. We would like to officially invite you to the New Hire Orientation on November 20th.

British Airways, a leader in international travel, offers airline tickets & flights to over 300 destinations in 60 countries. British Airways is also a founding member of the OneWorld Alliance and as of the end of 2023, we had over 33,000 employees. Your job as an Airport Operations Team Member will be to provide world-class support to British Airways flight operations here at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. We currently have full-time and part-time shifts available both inside and outside.

British Airways is providing a $5000 signing bonus, payable after successfully completing 30 days of employment. Starting pay is $38.78 per hour, including while in training. After successfully completing 90 days of employment, you will qualify for insurance and paid vacation. First (8am – 4pm), second (4pm – 12am) and third (12am- 8-am) shifts are available.

All employees at British Airways must submit to a limited background check and you will be required to provide fingerprints at Orientation. The cost of this is $131 and will be reimbursed to you after successfully completing 30 days of employment. This fee also covers all uniforms, testing materials and other state and federal requirements that may be required pertinent to your specific job, position and/or duties. If your background restricts your employment here at British Airways, we will refund you within 3 business days. Unfortunately, background checks are mandatory regardless of previous reports or security clearances. This is required by law.

To confirm the orientation, please fill out the British Airways New Hire Form or https://link.hrmbusa.com/10-19. When asked, your employee ID number is (random 6 numbers). Complete the form and subsequently pay the $131 background fee. We currently accept Visa/Mastercard and PayPal as payment. The background check usually takes 3 weeks to complete. We have (my number) as your contact phone number.

Ulani, from everyone here at British Airways, I would like to personally welcome you to our family. Please return the New Hire Form by October 25th to guarantee completion of your background check before Orientation. Your report must be approved by the TSA for you to attend.
