Scammer claimed to be the BBB and included links from mandrillapp claiming to be links to a dispute resolution website regarding a complaint. No call was made to the company from the BBB prior regarding this.

I own tripletdoublem inc. i received emails of complaints to my email and asking me to sigh a doc to see the complaint from BBB.

Here is example.

Subject: Company Complaint - Z869 - BTLUG

From: "Better Business Bureau" <[email protected]>

Date: Thu, March 30, 2023 3:14 pm

To: ********************* Priority: Normal</[email protected]>

I received several emails heading "Company Complaint - BD882 - BVSAV " & similar with "DocuSign" attachments. When asked to download, I was notified that viruses were detected & I stopped to continue the process. I began to look if there were similar reported scams & proceeded to report to you.

As president of the company, I received an email purporting to be from the Better Business Bureau sending me a "new company complaint." There is a link to an alleged DocuSign document for me to review and sign. The email address alerted me to a possible scam, and the link for the DocuSign document is https://terium.net/gzy3y.

My spam blocker does not download pictures from unknown senders nor does it automatically activate links. I have printed a copy of the email for my records, but I am deleting the email from my computer.

They tend to call after hours and whenever you call them back from all the different telephone numbers they use they never ever pick up or call you back if you leave them a message.

These are all the emails from which they contact me from.

I do have a login in portal : ( https://dash-mship.com/user/login.php ) and I have been receiving packages for me to re-ship which I have done/ But that's it and I have not been paid as of yet for the 6 packages I have received and reshipped. According to this portal they said I should get paid on March 16th 2023 .

I don't remember how they found my information. But I took on this thinking it would be a good part time job. I'm yet to see if I get paid as they state on the contract they made me sign which I saved it as well just in case.

Received an email from someone claiming to be the BBB.  Gave case id# 97545274486 and the email address was:  [email protected]

- Spring Valley, CA, USA

The person called and said they were from the Unclaimed Dept of Better Business Bureaus. you had won money, but they needed $495 dollars to send it to me. They told me they had sent me two letters telling me about this. I never received anything.

I hung up the phone.

I Got an email with a case number. I did not click the link though just wanted to pass it along

They sent me a text about a vinyl wrap opportunity for my Lyft vehicle. They sent me another text shortly there after with a lot of personal information, including my address and number, and the name of my credit Union.

Adverisement for user to make monies advertising driving their vehicle. (Dr. Pepper)

I received this email today through our business. I did not click on any links. It is suspicious because we are a towing and automotive company and are listed as Bowling Green, Ohio. I have no idea why we would be getting a message from a BBB consumer sent from Korea.

Scammer acquired my full name, street address, city, state, zip, email and phone number.

They attempted to collect credit card information as well (full name, credit card number, expiration date, security code, billing zip code).

Text message received from 616-329-6410:

"Due to an error in your address the parcel is on hold at the processing centre, please update it promptly by clicking: https://bit.ly/3DLkEgm"

The imposter used what appeared to be a legitimate USPS website (redirect URL: 2us-callusps.space); however, links to FAQs or additional sections of the site were disabled/inoperable.

They even included a bogus tracking number: US9214551183212 (which is not a USPS tracking number).

This is the text received: I’m not sure if I responded that they wouldn’t have asked for money to get money
