Between 3/1/2021 and 7/8/2022 I placed 27 orders with Big Apple Collectibles. Since 7/8/2022 I have not heard from them and 9 orders remain paid for and unfulfilled. Attempts to reach them have been unanswered. This business appears to be on the wrong side of the Federal Trade Commission Act Section 5: Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices. This business apparently is known for its fraudulent practice of selling items they do not have and never responding to customers. Google them and save yourself.

Had purchased some pop with this company back in 2021 October. Till now had been already more den a year yet the item had not been ship out.. had email them countless time. They only tel me had inform the warehouse manager to ship the item out ASAP and it had not been happen since my first email.. totally is a scam company who will cheat your 25% of the payment when you ask for a refund they only return 75% of the total bill.. had read some other buyer from worldwide 99% of the buyer making the same complaint about this untrusted company.

WORST company ever! Don't pre-order or buy from them. I should have checked their reviews before pre-ordering. It takes them forever to get their pre-orders. 1 year and still counting. They wouldn't honor their policies and they change it from time to time. Even if you bought something from them while the policy was still effective they wouldn't honor it. They are a joke, and their rep wouldn't stand by their words. I had proof of the policy sent to me by the Rep Manager and all they can do for you is apologize because it policy changed. It has been more than a year and I patiently waited but up until now NOTHING. They told me I can cancel my pre-order after 1 year of not receiving it and now they took that back and wouldn't honor it. The manager just told me that few months ago and even showed them the proof of our conversation. They even told me they don't ship an incomplete order so they wait for the whole order to be completed before sending it out. But for some reason when I tried to cancel my order since its over a year, they wouldn't and told me that the order will be shipped out. Now I received the email of the shipped items but FOR SOME REASON it is an Incomplete order! They are liars, this company is as bad as I've seen in reviews! They will start ignoring your emails and just do what they want! DONT BUY FROM THEM!

THIS A WARNER TO ALL COLLECTORS, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY* I recently order a action figures from big apple collectibles on June 2nd. It arrived yesterday with the seal open and missing content. I reported the issue via email, to be told that FedEx is liable for a package that was delivered regardless if it was empty or not. I emailed them photos, gave them whatever evidence they wanted. Also BEWARE of their term of service "We do not warranty items that are stolen, missing or misplaced once the shipping service reports they are delivered to your address." THEY DONT OFFER ANY INSURANCE. Just standard shipping or standard shipping with a signature. I could have signed off with a empty package. This sounds like a scam to me!! Horrible experience and customer service. I warning all COLLECTORS please do not give them your business.

Ordered in October of last year...2021! To date...I still have no merchandise...and every excuse under the son as to why I still do t have it! When I insist on my money back? I'm told "...if I cancel...I'm only entitled to 75 percent of my purchase price". I'm sorry WTF? I've done nothing but wait for what I paid for...haven't gotten it...and not you tell me I can't get a full refund? Fraud! This place needs to be [censored] down and I am not done!

Do not buy from this merchant. They are the last to get all pops. I have seen the same pops in local retailers while my order status still have my pops months out with Big Apple. Even when they do receive your order, they will take forever to send it out. I’m currently waiting on an order that’s been ready to ship since the 3rd week of November. Another order was ready to ship in January and it’s still sitting in their warehouse. I’ve emailed them 5-7 times and they’re customer service is horrible. All they do is tell you to be patient and cite holiday shipping delays despite that fact that it’s now March. I have disputed 3 of their orders with my credit card company. They also sent me damaged merchandise and claimed no responsibility when I emailed them. Took 3 weeks to get back to me. I’m so sorry that I ordered hundreds of dollars worth of pre-orders with them. Will never do business with them again. Would give them a lower rating if I could.

How did you dispute your orders with your CC company if they haven’t shipped it out?

I should have done my research but I’m afraid I fell victim as well and have been waiting a month for my orders that I’ve seen in stores where I’m at already ugh.

I originally ordered from them in late 2020 a funko pop and waited for it until late summer of 2021 and never got my product despite the fact that I was able to get it on Amazon no problem. I requested a refund for the products I never recieved and they gave me the BS excuse that they don't do refunds but only store credit. I had no choice but to order again. I ordered another product in November of 2021 and I still have not received even though they said its in the warehouse ready to ship. This is a scam do not order from this company ever...

I ordered Pops that were in stock according to the website for a Christmas gift. I got confirmation that they were preparing to ship. It sat that way for three months. After emailing and getting excuses for all that time and repeated assurances that they had the merchandise and their warehouse was backed up because of a move of the warehouse months prior, to Covid restrictions to Christmastime busy to the Carrier was slow to pick up.
After all of that, they refunded the money with no explanation. Looked on their website, and it says those Pops are now out of stock. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.

They order preorder items late so everyone else has them and you cancel so they get 25% and they sell it anyway. That’s there scam. JOIN ME AND MY GROUP BIGAPPLE SCAM

I pre-ordered over $100 worth of Pop's in May and have been patient. Your company then shipped them to a random address. My email confirmation shows my correct address, its now been 30 days since it was delivered to the wrong address and customer support has not come to a resolution. My items need to be shipped to me or my money back!

Horrible Business Their Pre-Ordering is a Huge Rip-Off if you clearly read the info it says " We don't have control on when orders will be in the Warehouse " That's a clear sign you're gamble with a Company that's not 100% trustworthy even id they say it's coming, If you cancel your order their taking 20% out your full purchase(s). I Feel like Pre-Ordering from Online is just a it's just a poor excuse to make money off of people who desperately want their Collectibles with having to pay ridiculous scalper and flipper prices from the third-party Market. Big Apple is not your friends they're Common Thieves no better then greedy people on Ebay who will do any low thing in the book to make money off Customers hope someone Sues them Again to the point of bankruptcy and they have to pay all the people they victimized

I ordered in July for delivery in September, it's been almost 6 months and they have send me nothing. I asked for a refund and they said they will keep 25%. This company is a scam. They string along so you void the days to dispute the charge. I have notified Google to remove them. I'm working with Facebook to remove them as well and I have contact Consumer Affairs in New York. Next step Visa & Mastercard. They are thieves.

Original order placed back May 24, 2021. I have been very patient about this order, but here it's going on 6 months. The website is vague about the order status, and I've messaged them 3 times in the past couple weeks, got one reply which basically said the same thing as the website, which is that it's still being processed or something, again, very vague. I've requested a refund, not store credit. No communication.

I'm from Mexico. I pre-ordered back in December 2020 a Good Omens Special Edition 2-pack. It cost $77.84 USD ($44.99 the Funko Pops plus $32.85 the shipping cost, which is ridiculously high but well, you expect something of the sorts when you want your package to be safe). Until June I received an email that my order was shipped and they gave me a tracking number from USPS. 100 days passed by and nothing, the package appeared "on transit". Last week I checked and it changed status as lost. I tried to file and issue through USPS site and it literally says "Inquiries are not accepted for the service purchased to mail this item". I've been emailing Big Apple Collectibles and their answer every time is, quote: "On international shipments, we have no way to status the shipment once it leaves the United States. Please contact your local postal service to see if they have any record of it since often it is waiting for payment of the duties & taxes in order to receive it." Which is ridiculous because USPS is not my local postal service, obviously, is from the US and it seems that they never handed it to anyone in Mexico. Also, why do they give you a tracking number if apparently they have "no way to status the shipment"? Today I checked through another tracking shipments website and the package appeared in Madrid and that it has been received, HOW COME? I mean, Mexico is right below the US, not across the ocean, Big Apple Collectibles! I can't tell you how mad I am, mostly because I lost a lot of money and because I though this was a serious company. I'm SO glad I didn't get The Umbrella Academy Pops and waited until a company from Mexico had them. Please DON'T BUY HERE if you're from an international location. They don't care at all. Now I don't know where to go to or what to do, because at least in Mexico we have government bodies that protect the costumer, but I'm afraid nobody will help me here...

Did the same thing to me. They send nothing and then want to keep your money if you ask for a refund.

Preordered three items on November 17th 2020, scheduled to ship in February 2021. Date keeps being pushed back on items that I've seen on a Walmart shelf in March and it's now the middle of June. They refuse to issue refunds, only store credit to basically preorder more stuff I'll never get.

Yes, they keep pushing the ship date so that it makes it harder to dispute the charges. I am considering creating a page to get buyers like us to file a class action suit against them.

Funko Pop and or the Better Business Bureau needs to shut down or fine Big Apple Collectibles located at 85 Executive Blvd Ground Floor. Elmsford, NY 10523 (Bigapplecollectibles.com). I have placed order after order and never receive anything. They do something called a Pre-order, you pay ahead of time and they ship when it comes in stock. Most other sites (reputable ones) charge only when item is in stock. The thing is people wait years before they get an order if they are lucky. I ordered last year and received nothing. Every time I message support they advise me to keep checking back. Every time I check it gets postponed. These items are available everywhere else. They are con artists. They get you to the point where you cancel and they get a 25% restocking fee on something they don’t have in stock. Posted my issue on Facebook and they blocked me for exposing this scheme. BBB files indicate a Pattern of Complaint concerning billing and delivery for Big Apple Collectibles. Consumers are telling BBB about their experiences after buying merchandise online from this company. Consumers claim they are charged for the purchases immediately by Big Apple Collectibles, even though many of the items are reportedly in pre-order status. Most consumers say after the order is placed, the expected shipment/delivery date is continually pushed back by the company. In a number of cases, consumers allegedly become frustrated with the ongoing delays and request a refund from Big Apple Collectibles, only to be told that the company will not return the money but issue a store credit instead. So consumers are reportedly without the items they paid for and the money they were charged for them. A large majority of the complaints filed with BBB against Big Apple Collectibles have not been answered.
On 2/12/2019, BBB contacted Big Apple Collectibles to request its voluntary cooperation in alleviating the underlying issues identified for a Pattern of Complaints. As of 3/08/2019, the business has not sent a response to BBB's communications and failed to address the identified issues of the Pattern of Complaints.

They have many reviews of holding peoples orders for extended periods of time and not replying to emails or when they do reply they lie about the status of your order.

I pre-ordered some items from Big Apple Collectibles in February that never shipped. When I tried to contact them to get a shipping update, they replied with a link to their release date page, and no further explanation - none of my items were listed on the new release page. After several attempts to contact, I opened a case w/ PayPal to attempt to get a refund and at the 11th hour, I finally got a reply from someone named Megan, saying that they get their shipments well after big box retailers and that they "love their customers and value their patience" as they have "little control over when [they] receive shipments." That was June 19 and it was the last message I received from them. At the time I stupidly took it as a positive sign and canceled my claim with PayPal and now I have no further recourse on that order. I had another already in the queue so I contacted them to cancel both of my orders and be issued a refund. No response. Big Apple Collectibles is actively soliciting sales via their website, email marketing campaigns, and Instagram account and yet they are not shipping existing orders. They probably are not able to get the product but they have no problem taking your money. I've seen other reviews saying that they were offered store credit - I haven't been offered that - I can't even get a response. The phone number they have listed on their Facebook page is a fake number - they haven't even posted anything on FB since March. They have deactivated their Twitter account and their Instagram account is set up only to post ads - they have disabled comments. I'm guessing they ship a small % of orders - just enough to show that they are not completely false but there has to be something to do about a company with as terrible a track rating as this.

Order items in April 2019 which were to be delivered in June 2019. It is now the end of July 2019 and there is no update, no nothing. They gladly took my money and have disappeared.

Every single time I interact with them, it's awful. I've decided to stop now.

The first time, I preordered something from them. Six months later they were well past the date they were supposed to ship and refused to give me an update. Other stores had it, they didn't. So I asked for my money back, nada. They said it wasn't their policy. Only store credit. So I asked for a similar item. Nope. Had to be of lesser value.

I had already preordered something else in this time period. My mistake. The date passed, same thing. Finally they said they shipped it. But no package arrived. I asked them to do something about it, ie follow up with USPS. They said they wouldn't, as on their end it said it was delivered so their conscious was clear. I contacted USPS and they said as no insurance was purchased, the company had to do something about it, not them. I relayed this to the company and they said nope, they didn't have to do so because their policy protected them and accused me of trying to extort them. So I'm done. I made the mistake. I will never buy from them again. I just don't want others to be burned by them. It sucks because they're a toy company so kids are going to get hurt here. Just awful people. I don't know how they sleep at night.
