I was contacted through indeed by someone from the company, instructed me to zoom for an interview. Everything seemed legit until they emailed a check to mobile deposit into my account, then began to get pushy about the whereabouts of the $1,000 . I woke up this morning and went grocery shopping with my family and at check out , my card wasn't working. Only to discover thaty account is locked due to fraudulent activity between my account and another Chase account.

I received an email from indeed that caught my eye regarding a remote job that would pay well. They contacted me through Zoom.com and did an interview. After the interview, they told me that there were going to send me money to buy my office supplies. That’s when I started to grow suspicious. I printed off the checks and submitted them to my bank, then the scammer started to get pushy with where the money was so I pretended my bank account was locked. This morning, I noticed my bank account was negative by the full amount. When trying to confront them, the blocked me.
