I purchased an eBike from Amazon.com via a 3rd party seller. When I received the package via FedEx it was an empty box. I attempted to contact Amazon for a resolution but they said all claims had to go through the 3rd party seller that scammed me. Even attempts to open a case with FedEx was unsuccessful because the shipper (scammer) was required to open the case which they will not. I was not the only person this happened to and believe they know it's a way to scam people out of money with little to no recourse.

I opened up an Amazon account with no personal documents required for identification. In the account I noticed there was an option to load cash through the phone app by a bar code or using my phone number through western union. So I wired money through western union to my account. I was notified that the account was credited. When I went to use the money, Amazon said I can't access my account until I upload documentation proving who I am. (i.e. driver's license). I'm not about to upload any personal documentation to any online entity. I'm very cautious about identity theft. The fact that they allowed me to upload money without any documentation just shows how Amazon's business ethics are. Now they won't release my account, nor will they refund my money.

Ordered cup from Amazon it was not shipped but a label was created . Item was paid for . Item is not fulfilled by Amazon

Amazon allows criminals to operate on their website to target their Prime paying customers. I was scammed by one of these cons. I blame Amazon for not screening their sellers therefore making their customers vulnerable. I lost $461.

I have an Amazon prime subscription. Amazon signed me up for a Starz subscription without my knowledge and has been charging me without my knowledge since Nov 2020. I contacted Amazon and cancelled the subscription as well as received a refund but only for the past 12 months. This is not the only case of this happening as I only become aware of it. After someone posted a TikTok video about their experience with the same thing.

Seller sold me a gold necklace via amazon, the necklace did not fit my wife so I returned it. To my surprised the seller claimed that I had returned a fake necklace, then kept my money and the necklace. My wife and kids are my witnesses and I am willing to go public with this. Seller must be scamming many other people out there and this must be stopped.

I ordered a set of 4 tires for my vehicle from Simple Tire via Amazon on November 4, 2022. On November 13, I received a notification from FedEx that my order was delivered to the tire installation shop. I then called the place to schedule the installation, but they were not able to find the tires that I ordered. The same day, I contacted the seller via the Amazon messaging system, and the seller replied "If the installer does not have the tires, request you to please file a report with your local Law Enforcement agency and provide us the police report". Before going to the local police station to file the report, I decided to visit the installation shop to see whether or not they were giving me the correct information. When I arrived, they told me the same thing they said over the phone, until I asked them to find the order by the shipping label. After about 10 minutes of going through piles of tires, they found my tires but the tires were not what I ordered from Amazon. Not even by the slightest bit. The tires I received are either for heavy machinery or trucks. When I was navigating through Amazon APP to contact the seller, I found countless reviews by Amazon customers claiming that they experienced the very same incident with this very seller, Simple Tire. I genuinely cannot understand what the seller's benefiting from shipping the wrong items to buyers, but it's apparent that they're purposely doing it for a reason. ?I managed to receive prepaid labels, but I had to drive to the installation place again (in my current worn-out tires), pick up the tires, affix the shipping labels, and drop them off at FedEx because the seller never even considered paying extra for a pickup request. I am very frustrated and upset that I had to go through such a darndest experience. I truly don't understand how a seller like this has been and still is getting away without Amazon intervening to stop the fraudulent activity. The seller's listings are STILL active.

the website was a URL pnishing acct using Amazon per my virus protection warning, during login I have a 2 verification that sends to my phone as a text, which never happened, message on screen said wait 1 minute before requesting another verification , then it took me to a screen that said to recover your 2 step verification click link here and the to upload a id, or a picture to confirm my identity recovery which was a RED FLAG.. I didnot follow thru. Also before the Amazon website https bar appeared, a quick website menu appear quickly it read IL.yahoo another RED FLAG or something similar then the Amazon website appeared on the menu bar, with a replica of the amazon site to log in, only difference I saw the welcome with my name, was at the top left, but normally this welcome would be on the top right. Another RED FLAG.

I bought $900 worth of amazon gift cards for myself. I tried to use them & they were no good. I called Amazon many, many times to get a refund in my account or replacement gift cards to bad ones.

They said they already refunded me in my account. I did not receive any refund of my $900. Nor did I receive replacement gift cards.

I bought my gift cards from the 888-280-****. They were used gift card numbers. I want my money back. I used my son's debit card to buy them. My debit had not arrived yet.

This was emailed to me fraudulently from Amazom.com. I just got off the phone with Amazon, and they said I was good and I got info that an IPhone 12 was not ordered from my account. I also reported this fraud to Amazon and they'll also post this attempt to their services. The order ID: 7675-0098-2215. Shipping address to: 3198 Milltown Rd., Wilmington, DE, 19808, USA. The helpline is listed on this spam as 805.534.7555. There is also an additional number to call if needing assistance regarding this order: 206.479.2390.

This is nothing but a scam and DO NOT fall for this bogus [censored]e.

Said was charge to my account. Thought I was hacked got Amazon website and called them. I was scammed out of 3400.00. Just want to warn others about this scam but not able to file a report.

I received a call allegedly from Amazon.com claiming I owed Amazon $1956.37. The phone number was both on my caller ID and in the message. // I am a regular Amazon customer and, based on experience, know that Amazon simply adjusts invoicing errors directly without calling me to say I owe money. That is why I called BBB.

I was contacted by an email that was supposed to come from Beth Galetti with the email [email protected]. It is fake and they were asking for personal information and my social security number. Please do not fall victim to this scam.

During the past 3 weeks I've received as many as 4 robocalls per day about an alleged Amazon.com account. I have no such account and have never purchased anything from Amazon. Oddly, the first 6 digits of all of the phone numbers are identical to my phone number.

I keep getting calls from Amazon. I have not had an Amazon account for fifteen years. They are charging my account $800 to $1000. I do not have their phone number. I wondered if this was a scam.

I received a call on my cell phone from a robot telling me there was a large amount of money (over$1000), that was charged to my Amazon.com account, and would be deducted from my payment source if I did not cancel the purchase by clicking 2 to be connected to an agent. I pressed 1, and was connected to someone with a very thick foreign accent, who told me to go to www.anyweb.com to allow them remote access to my computer, so they could sort this out for me.

Due to the accent, as well as the instructions to allow remote control of my computer, I assumed it must be some kind of scam, and checked my accounts to se that there was no such charge anywhere. I then contacted Amazon Support by chat, and they said the same thing, that it was not Amazon who called you, plus there were no recent charges to my Amazon account.

This is a frightening scam they are pulling here, and needs to be shut down, like many such scams that these types of people use to hurt people during the lockdown!!

We have an email from Amazon stating that an item was shipped in my wife's name to a different address than ours with phone that I won't call because my wife's Amazon account has not been used in years and we cannot even get into it anymore

I am a victim of "Amazon Brushing".... I keep receiving packages from Amazon of random items I did not order... These packages have my name and address on them. I have reported this to Amazon 3 times now, and they basically do nothing about it, but tell me they have sent it to their investigation team and will get back with me in 10 days. They never get back with me. Amazon being a multi billion dollar business needs to protect our identity better! Our names, addresses, and phone numbers, should not be getting out to third-party sellers. I have changed my password on amazon 3 times! I'm tired of reporting stuff to Amazon and nothing being done about it... I want a federal investigation done on the Brushing Scam. I want Amazon to be held liable if for any reason my bank account get hit for charges for any of these random items I am being sent that I did not place an order for.

Someone called and said that they were amazon.com and that someone had made $400 purchase on my account. They wanted to know if I had made this purchase and that if I hadn't I should press 1. If you pressed one and told them that you hadn't made the purchase they then wanted to help you cancel the order. To do this they needed access to your account and your personal information.

I was told that $349.99 was charged to my Amazon account. Call this number if not correct: 707-886-9243. I called and was told an IPad was purchased & need to call VISA.

Went online and did not see purchase.
