The scammer had another number call me first and then “connect me” to another. They had me believing my elderly parents owed money and that they were going to be getting served papers. Said they had been trying to find them. Used a fake case number. Said if we don’t pay papers will be served and the lawyers they work for will proceed with filing a law suit. Called me multiple times. Said I could settle now but pay interest. Truly convincing until I had my attorney call them back and they acted like fools- provided zero documentation any cases were open. Beware….. Convincing at first and even used an old loan name from a bank my dad took a loan in the 60s.
