The company advertises on Instagram but they do not have a phone number to contact them. I sent them numerous messages and I finally found out that they would not refund any of my money except $12 and for me to give away the clothing. I returned their message and told them that I was not going to give away their clothing because it was trashy and not well-made. Then reported to BBB. Claims to b elocated in London.

I responded to an ad on Facebook that appeared to be for Winsor & Newton. I got a confirmation for my order and a tracking number. I tracked until today when I realized this was probably a scam. The money was taken out of my account by a ROMORYXMSUSD.

- Paris, AR, USA

Ordered a hummingbird suncatcher off of a Facebook ad. Item showed up nothing close to the photo shown and broken in 3 areas. When I contacted the seller she offered to give me a 20% discount. This was after 2 attempts to get my money back. I cannot find the ad on Facebook nor the name of the “company.”

Tupperware bankruptcy ad on Facebook. The receipt came from an unknown, random email address.

- Deltona, FL, USA

I was on Facebook and a person messaged me with items to sell for Christmas and I payed them via Apple Pay. Once they received the payment they blocked me completely. I do not know the person and unfortunately I cannot dispute it through my bank.

Purchased seat covers. Received email showing my order number. Then nothing for a few weeks...i reached out to their contact and received a bogus tracking number. By reviewing my order over the next couple of weeks from the original email i received, i was able to see the item moving through china, going through customs and eventually delivering to my address.

I never received the seat covers that i ordered

While on their website, i was able to chat to them and was told that their company makes custom cushions and their address was: **** ***** ****** ***** ***** **** ** ******

Scammer called me from seeing a motorcycle add that I placed on Cycle Trader. Scammer said interested in buying motorcycle but tried to get me to run an "ARC" report from autoreportscenter.com. I looked online and did not see this as a readily identifiable reporting organization on vehicle history. Eventually I saw a notice of this being a potential scam. I did not run the report and lost no money, just lost time on the phone with this person.

- Norfolk, VA, USA

Contacted through multiple methods, Tinder/Snapchat/Onlyfans and guided to purchase content of an erotic nature under the auspices of custom generated content. Believe every contact was a sock-puppet account and pictures and videos provided were not of a dynamic and spontaneous nature. Pushes to continue tipping and bullying when no tips were offered as is standard.

I was offered $500 to use one of my social media pictures to create a mural. They gave me a phone number to text and they wanted to send me $2000 then have me send $1500 to the "artist" venmo account. I attempted to deposit the first check for $1000 but upon reviewing it I figured it would likely bounce and combined with the fact they wanted me to send the money before the check cleared I knew it was likely a scam. The check bounced and I was fined $5.

- Huntersville, NC, USA

The merchant of vonyabundles LLC is selling hair extensions and promoting via social media but is never sending out the merchandise and other customers are saying the same thing but she is just deleting the messages I have contacted the merchant multiple times via social media and email via her website

- Navarre, FL, USA

Thought I was purchasing a dog fence from stereodrip on Facebook. I used a credit card from my bank to purchase it. When the tracking number was received I noticed it was from China although the comments state it was coming from California. I received the package on 5/30/2023 and it was a scarf. The tracking number matches what they sent me. I have contacted the email address I provided to you asking for my money back, which is required of me to do if my bank will dispute the purchase. Later after seeing it was coming from China, I researched other comments on scams and so many others were scammed as well.

I placed an item on Facebook marketplace, and I received a message from the scammer leaving a contact number (270-984-6505) saying she wanted to buy the item. When I returned the call, she did not answer, but texted me back immediately. She wanted to send me a six digit code to verify. I was actually selling an item. When I reach search this, I found out this was a scam, and I made a screenshot of the scam information, and sent it to her, telling her no. All contact then stopped.
