Called number thinking about 9:00 a.m. CST, thinking I was calling Christian Family Services, 1-800-438-1772, not knowing when I dialed the number I put in 1# incorrectly. When I called there were several automated messages offering a free life alert for those over 50 years of age. After a few minutes a woman who identified herself as Keesha walked me through how I could get a free life alert, I would only have to pay the monthly fee of $49. Because I thought I actually had the Christian Family Services and thinking this was part of the service they offered for emergencies such as falls, health conditions, and people with depression or other mental diagnosis. So I agreed and provided my checking account information. Keesha had informed me that the CFS number had changed and not accurate on website and provided me with their number. Later in the day I tried calling number Keesha had given me,800-344-3232 and then discovered it was not a valid number.
