No name of business, address, listed on return address that showed: 2017 Chrysler 200, Official business, Penalty for Private Use $300, Office ID: 299TZ42358, Notice Date:10/25/2024

Message concerning : YEAR; 2017, MAKE: CHRYSLER: MODEL: 200 VIN: 1C3CCCEGH********* CustomerID:299TZA23542358 Respond by 11/5/2024 Message was that vehicle service contract needed to be activated since factory

warranty had expired. My problem is: I have never owned a Chrysler product! I called to see who this was and when I told the person who said he was service rep, but where I don't know, that and I wanted to know why and how I got this letter. I told him that I was retired from a Dealership after working there for 20 years, and I didn't understand my getting a letter like this." I really did retire after working 20 years at a Dealership locally." When I told him that he hung up with no info given or questions. I did not give him any information but I am sure this has to be a scam that someone could easily fall for. I am concerned that I got this letter addressed to me.

I purchased a new Chevrolet Silverado 1500 truck and 30 days after having the vehicle, I started receiving multiple vehicle warranty notices and I didn't purchase anything from this company but they tried to get me to send my personal information to them to claim the warranty.

Offer to extend vehicle protection coverage for a recently purchased Toyota, including this message: "if your warranty has expired, you will be responsible for paying any repairs."

- Fleming Island, FL, USA

fake "your car warranty has expired" promotion, designed to deliberately mislead the reader into the assumption it came from the vehicle manufacturer.

- Pearland, TX, USA

James Conrad, Program Cooridnator sends me mails every month requesting to call him to provide my vin and mileage number. He wants to add “platinum coverage” to my Tesla. No company info.

States that a car i recently purchased is out of warranty and i need to pay them to keep my contract.

- Dallas, TX, USA

Revived a letter informing me that my “…factory warranty has expired…” and I will be “financially liable for all repairs.” It also stated that I have until 10/21/24 to contact them. I just bought a car in May and have received these letters monthly.

- Denver, CO, USA

Product offered is an option to protect the vehicle beyond the factory warranty.

"Covered parts include* Engine, transmission, Transfer Unit 4x4, Drive Axle Assembly, Front and Rear Suspension, Steering, Air Conditioning Unit, Electronics, Seals, Gaskets, Brake System, High Tech Electricl System, and More."

Mailer (James Conrad, Program Coordinator) requested recipient to call 1-800-207-2075 with VIN and current mileage before (22 October 2024). Their "records indicate that" the recipient had "not contacted (them) regarding the vehicle service contract on (the recipient's) vehicle."

The mailer attempted to scare the recipient into a needless purchase, stating that "by neglecting to activate...coverage" that the recipient would "be at risk for being financially liable for any and all repairs after (the) factory warranty expires." (N.B. well, duh...) They continue: "However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on (the) vehicle before it's too late." Gotta love the proviso: "Final acceptance is subject to (recipient's) ability to meet eligibility requirements. This may be our only attempt to contact you (N.B. I wish!) about activating your vehicle service contract. We weserve the right to revoke eligibility for service coverage if you do not meet our criteria. (N.B. What criteria? Lacking money?) Call within 5 days to ensure eligibility."

Received two post cards followed by a letter all postage paid threatening to charge me for any and all repairs after the factory warranty expires on my vehicle. I called Hyundai and they confirmed it is a scam.

- Washington, PA, USA

Ok, not sure it is a total scam. But the ScamPulse.com gives this company an f rating, an other websites list a lot of complaints. My experience started with a postcard with no company name. I called asked the rep. The name; he told me it was Eleras. The postcard said I had five days to respond. I had no Internet at the time and wanted to check it out and the price was too high. Put me on the phone with a guy from the accounting department, who told me he could lower the price, but I had to pay them 159.00 then and there. Told him no, I'd check them out and call back. He hung up on me. Glad I did check them out. Called back again and told them I'd go with them if they could explain why they had an F rating with the BBB. They hung up on me again!

Letter staying my vehicle warranty has not been activated, and to call them. They have the make and model of the vehicle I recently purchased, but nothing else. It appears to be a phishing scam.

- Aurora, CO, USA

False warranty product, pretending to be a dealership, creating false urgency with messaging like “IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUIRED” and stating falsely that vehicle warranty coverage has expired. Fake product.

- Las Vegas, NV, USA

I received a paper letter with my updated address to Big O' Tires who sold my personal information, for a vehicle listed as a 2021 Nissan Frontier which I have NEVER owned. Lists the phone number of 888-307-2017 to call by 7/24/24 to get "you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it's too late". I called ***** ****** the Program Coordinator to claim my deletion from their hunting list but the loser who attended to me just hung up when I said the Conrad name. No business name or address on the letter -small print on the bottom says "All service contracts are through Evercare Direct"

- Chapel Hill, NC, USA
