A consumer reached out to us regarding a phone call that she had received regarding a grant. She said that she was told that this grant was for people with disabilities or people with low income. She was told to go to a store and purchase $9000 worth of eBay gift cards. She did not remember where the person named Roy Walton was claiming to be from. ScamPulse.com advised her to not get those gift cards and to avoid further contact with these people.

Was contacted on Facebook and called about a $100,000.00 I qualified for. Said I had to send them $2,000.00 first. I sent it to them in cash and then they said I had to send the a copy of my medicare card, a copy of my license, and $5,000.00 more. I sent them the copies of my medicare card and license.

Impatient and persistent about me accepting the grant for Clearance and Delivery Fee disguised in Christian excerpts from the Bible. Wanted me to go to CVS late at night to purchase VANILLA Gift cards in amt of 2x$500 each. Take pics of front and back including receipt from purchase of cards. Since I would not go out last night to make the purchase, I was reminded this morning to go that way I could have the Grant delivered to my door within 5 hrs.

Found on Facebook on one of the people we follow on facebook, a message from Harry Hickerson saying there is a “new grant out funding for $20,000 must have a LLC and an EIN “. We messaged them on messenger and they said they will file and apply for us for $50 via cash app. Then we sent him our name, business email and phone number and the $50. Not even 5 minutes he messaged us on messenger saying we were approved for $26,000 to check our email. We checked our email and it says that we are approved for $26,000 from the small business association for Covid relief for small businesses. It was from an gmail account (red flag). And it requested we only need to provide our bank account number to receive and an additional payment of $100.00. And right away then we figured out we were scammed

Had a friend massage me and ask me if I had got my package from pch and said no! So this friend gave me the place where I was thinking I could get the package! Every time he would ask for more money I would ask my friend if it was alright and the friend would tell me to give him the money! So over a year and 260000 later here I am!

Alan Dean Martin from Federal Gov't Grant's can help gets Grant's. Answer 10 questions about yourself and see if you qualify. Then to make sure you are yourself send picture of your driver's license. Then send them money upfront for processing fees ect. Then money will be at your door 3-4 days. They wanted 1,000-5,000 according to how much of a grant you need, 150,000-750,000. I gave personal info because I was friends with a man that I knew that I accepted on my facebook, but later realized this isn't the same person on messenger. I was hacked. Someone on messenger is using a facebook friend to talk to me.

They literally are on rn tring to get money from my people. They are ACTIVE ON MY MESSENGER. Trace them . They took over my everything I've been calling them on my messenger n they aren't scared they are just going after all of my family and friends. But they are traceable and active

Cousin said hello. 1st contact in a decade. I gave him my cell phone number and ask that he contact me on that instead. Said his phone was disabled and asked if I knew about TCF/$15000 available for free. Currently stringing him along so he may leave somebody else alone for a while. Sounds just like the girl and Idaho.. Let me know if you want me to let him get maybe $50 so it's prosecutable?

Kroger offered a grant of 70,000 for an incentive. Paper work has been filed and a delivery company is holding the check for ransom and some Attorney named Roger is helping telling my friend to just pay the money she will get the check. She has lost everything.

I was messaged by her saying that I qualified for a government grant. She wanted my information to determine if I was able to receive the grant. She then said I did. She asked me to decide how much I wanted to receive. I chose 100,000.00. She then said that I would have to pay 1,000.00 for the UPS driver to bring it to my door within 24 hours. When I told her that was not possible, she said that I had to try and get a razor or visa card for 1,000.00, and send her the screenshot of it so then she could process the grant and send it to me. I did not get the card. She said that I could also pay it with my cheque. I told her that I would not do that. She is continuing to message me asking if I got the money yet. I told her no. She insisted that it was not a scam and that my life would change for the better with the grant. She said that I could also send the money through PayPal. It does not sound legitimate to me. I have not sent any money or purchased any cards to send to her.

What should I do in order to not have her continue to try and send the money. Should I block her? Below I have sent you her profile page.

I received a text from Agent Randy Cornell regarding a $30,000 government grant.  He asked me to send him $500 -- 2-$200 Amazon cards and 1-$100 Apple.  Then I took a picture of the receipt and the cards and send to them.

Now they are asking for $1,500 for taxes.

I received a message in messenger from my cousin asking me if I had seen the government grant information on the news. She stated I should contact them to see if I qualified, so I did. I gave them my city, state, and phone number, but then got suspicious and asked my cousin to tell me the name of our Grandmother, they responded that I should know that information. I immediately called them out on being a scammer and they stopped messaging me. Now, this morning they are texting and calling my phone.
