- Oneida, TN, USA

It stated my factory warranty is expired. They even had part of my vin # listed on the letter. Also listed make, model and year all correct information.

- Verona, MO, USA

Said I’ve not contacted them to have my vehicle service contract activated to call this number by 1/1/24 or I’ll have to pay all repairs out of my pocket.

- Portland, ME, USA

Several "Immediate response requested" letters sent via regular mail, asking me to call them to activate a "vehicle service contract" for my Tesla Model X... a vehicle I do not, nor have ever, owned! I've never even ridden in one...

The letters include a "customer ID" number, the first several characters of a supposed VIN number, "platinum powertrain" protection info under "coverage explanation..."

- West Chicago, IL, USA

keep getting letters that my new vehicle warranty is about to expire, but they will renew/extend if i call them. No business name or address. Every day I get the same letter. They have my address, vehicle make and VIN number.

I am a former arbitrator with the Chicago BBB; I primarily heard automotive-related cases, and I still work in the automotive field. This solicitation with "official business", "penalty for private use $300" and other very misleading text makes me sick to my stomach. Somehow they got a hold of my vehicle record (and my warranty as provided by the vehicle manufacturer is about to expire) and they send me this solicitation in an attempt to fool me that it is coming from the vehicle manufacturer.

IT IS NOT.

Down at the bottom of the solicitation it reads "All policies are through Evercare Direct".

This is outrageous and a clear attempt at deceiving and misleading vehicle owners. If it wasn't for my ScamPulse.com and automotive background I could have been scammed. Please investigate.

Received a notice in the mail about activating our recently-purchased vehicle's service contract. "Immediate Response Requested" ... "... factory warranty may have expired... you will (italics) be responsible for paying any repairs." Scammers have also called personal cell phone #s with spoofed Caller ID. Have asked to have name removed from lists; and recently started threatening to call BBB. Very frustrating.

Postal mail telling me that my new used car's warranty had expired and to call. I did and they were enthused to help me reinstall my warranty. Then, I hit a paywall and told them I needed to call my dealership. Of course they did not want me to. I hung up and called the dealership who assured me that my warranty is fine. Scammers phone is (888) 307-2075. In hindsight the paperwork is suspicious because there is no business name on it.

I received the attachment in the mail box, delivered by USPS. I am concerned that this is a scam as I have never owned a Kia Optima.

(Attachment removed by ScamPulse.com due to personal information; attachment indicated warranty about to expire; Addressee: 2018 Kia Optima)
