sent me a text stating I owe a debt from more than 10 years ago and they are filing charges on me for bank fraud. Threatened to put me in jail if I didn't pay more than $1000 today and that it would go on my credit report. I informed him that the debt is more than 10 years old and the statute of limitations has run out on filing charges and there would be no charges to file as I didn't take out a pay day loan at any time he got rude and began threatening me that I"d be arrested at work and stuff.

I was called claiming I defaulted on a loan in 2016 and that they were going to file fraud charges against me if I did not pay the defaulted amount. When I told him it was past the statue limitations, he threatened me, cursed at me and used other very derogatory terms towards me.

Texting scam

Have been receiving text messages, without any introduction, simply stating that I owe on an unnamed account and should call this number. This is absolutely annoying and tiring. Between this and the phone calls, they government and law enforcement are going to need to come up with easier ways to report this and file claims against them since they can send these from just about any area code and number.

This number has called me and my friend's number multiple times. They have harassed us both for days. This stuff needs to stop. The scammers call so much your mailbox is full after a couple days. I am sick and tired of the harassing, scamming calls from these fraudulent people.

Ive been being harrassed for the past year by someone from Empire Capital Network. I get txt messages, calls, and voicemails from someone named Mr.Gonzalaz. Initially I was told that I owed for a $500 payday loan and now owed $700 plus. They said I could pay back in installments of 100 weekly. He claimed a law suit would be filed against me if I didnt. I knew I had some credit card debt but I did not have any pay days loans I had not paid off currently. I suspected fraud from an ex but I went ahead and made the 1st payment since they had all my info and I couldnt verify the fraud yet. I called back later to request a copy of the bill as I suspected they were a scam and or someone else had my info. The man refused to send me a copy of said bill and that "I already got 100 from you so just pay the rest and stop being stupid". I blocked them but they contact me from multiple number
