Similar to another reported scam

- Gloucester, MA, USA • May 01, 2025

I received a postcard today stating that they advise me to contact them or I will have lapse coverage on my dwelling.call 888-413-5452

- Durham, NC, USA • May 01, 2025

Received postcard claiming "Home Warranty Division" with no other business or sender source information except pre-sorted bulk mail in upper right box (standard stamp location) from Dallas TX permit no. 2650 with "253271 - T951" below the stamp box.

Claimed need to replacement warranty "registration is required by continued protection" and other urgent scammer phrasing.

- Noblesville, IN, USA • Apr 30, 2025

The scammer sent a post card to my home saying at the top in bold letters on one side:

County Deed Records

On the other side in bold letters:

Home Warranty Division

The name on the post card, has my mother in laws name ( she does not live with me, has not lived with me for years) with my address.

When I called the number, the gentleman who answered said, said the company name, which is no where listed on the card. Said it was for home warranty services.

I requested for my address to be removed from his system, he asked for a registration # before he could remove my address. (At the time of the call, I was frustrated and couldn’t find it.) At this point. I realize this is a scam.

I didn’t lose any money, nor did I give any more personal info. I want to report this. Because what was received in the mail, was very misleading.

A highly generic notice regarding an expired home warranty. Postal mark says "First-Class Mail Presorted U.S. Postage Paid Dallas, TX Permit No. 2650"

- Columbus, OH, USA • Apr 22, 2025

Same as others have reported. 4x5.5 inch white card claiming to be notifying you as the homeowner of a lapsing warranty, that if ignored could result in pricey repairs and/or product replacement. Should be easy to spot as a scam, moreso if like me you rent an apartment.

- Berlin, MD, USA • Apr 21, 2025

Just a weird post card claiming some kind of warranty that doesn't exist. I suspect it may be part of a mortgage scam too.

One side of postcard states "County Deed Records", the other side "Home Warranty Division" both sides have the same information, showing address, previous owners name, giving a registration ID and PIN, stating must contact to not have lapse in coverage.

It is a postcard that looks fairly close to something that the County that we live in may send out. However, the component that they are talking about that needs to be registered is nonexistent at our home. We do not have any Mechanical systems that would need to have a warranty on them in this old farm house.

There is no return address or company name. Only “Home Warranty” . The provided phone number is not associated with my home warranty company and my policy is paid through end of year. Post Card about renewing mechanical systems warranty. Attempting to trick home owners to renew (what we don't have)

- Houston, TX, USA • Apr 09, 2025

I received a small card that says home warranty division county deed records informing me that I needed a warranty replacement. The notice gave me a registration I. D and a pin number. Post card from home warranty division stating that my homes warranty was going to default and any repairs would not be covered that registration was required for continued protection

- Warren, OH, USA • Mar 25, 2025

Physical piece of mail about the size of a postcard that reads “County Deeds Records” on one side and “Home Warranty Division” on the other for titles. It lists an ID and a pin for registration and a phone number to call. It did not come in an envelope and has “First-class mail presorted, US postage paid Dallas TX permit no. 2650” where a postage stamp would normally be.

- Baton Rouge, LA, USA • Mar 25, 2025

Got a post card telling me the warranty for the mechanical systems in our house will be expiring soon and we need to call the number to get it extended.

- Lincolnton, NC, USA • Mar 24, 2025

Post Card received in mail that the property’s previous owner’s home warranty would be expiring in 30 days. Says in bold letter across the top that it is from the ‘County Deed Records Home Warranty Division’. Gives a registration ID and a Pin number.

However, there is no website listed, no company listed, no address or PO Box. Just a phone number 1 (888)-413-5452 asking you to call to renew the home owner’s warranty before it expires.

- Roswell, GA, USA • Mar 20, 2025

Envelope delivered by USPS with no company name or return address, A Registration Fee Voucher for $199.00 was at the top of the letter followed by Final Attempt to our property's home warranty due to expire. Only a phone number to call 1-888-413-5452.

I did not respond to the letter or call them.
