Type of a scam Online Purchase
I received two devices ($53.91 in total, paid by credit card) and heard a loud noise when I tried them (rather than the ultrasonic noise promised on the website that would *not* be audible to humans). I reached out to their customer service about it, and they instructed me to adjust a knob that was non-existent on the product.
In further customer service interactions, I was told that I had to send a video of the product not functioning (which I did), and then I was told that I could not return the product since I had used it. Specifically, they said "Our return policy states that we cannot accept returns on used items. This policy is in place to maintain the quality and integrity of our products, ensuring customers satisfaction and safety. While we understand your willingness to clean and repackage the units, once a product has been used, we are unable to accept it as a return. Our "30-day money back guarantee - risk-free purchase" applies specifically to unused and unopened items within the specified timeframe."
This was not specified on the website. In fact, the website says "We have one of the best Returns & Refunds policy out there. You can return an item that you don't like within 30 days after you've received it."
This website is a scam, and I feel for anyone who has interacted with them.
