I contacted USDA to receive a grant or loan for new windows in my home the summer 2022; however, Window Nation refused to take the government contract even if I became eligible at that time. On Feb. 27, 2023, I was included in emails between the employees of Window Nation and USDA to come up with 30% for a down payment for the windows. On March 15, 2023 I paid the salesman for the windows. He stated to me on Feb. 27, 2023 that I could buy one window and get the other free, but it was not included in the  contract. Also on March 15,2023, the salesman asked me to sign a contract while I spoke to him on the phone. I was surprised because, I felt this additional contract (outside of the USDA contract was not necessary.) I have received calls and emails threatening judgement against me for not accepting the windows. The cost was too high for me the pay.
