Recently, I got a call from Walmart saying I won a $100 gift card and need to provide my bank card number to get the card. After responding I don't have my card on me call was over. The next day July 12th I got a call from Walmart again saying "Alert" a PS had been purchase for $900 would you like to talk to the fraud department. press 1. When I did, I immediately got the Border patrol DEA "my SSN has been compromised" because of drug smuggling. A former car I used to own has been involve in trafficking drugs, and money laundering. As I was given instruction on what to do as getting my money out of the bank, then depositing it into a Bitcoin machine, later a police officer would come to my home an give me a new SSN card and my money back. I was to withdraw all my money from each account and leave $200 in each. I was told not to tell anyone what was going on and tell my supervisor that I had to leave immediately to do this. There were a few times I refused to obey and then was again immediately connected to the local police office here in Dallas, Texas. Saying I would have a warrant out for my arrest. I did not put my money in the machine " thinking of the small amount I had and that this could be a scam. I was a police car and stop to tell them about my experience they inform me that it was a scam. A little shaken, that I had almost gave my money away. I still want to report this to the police station that was used in this event.
