EdConnective (Mark Bradford - ‘Recruiter’) reached out to me and advised I was short listed for a Customer Success Manager position. I confirmed this listing on their official website. I answered a questionnaire consisting of 15 customer service related questions. 2 days later I was offered the position. An offer letter was presented and signed.

The company then sent me a check via email to mobile deposit into my account. The check successfully posted to my account the following business day. The company then asked me to send them $2,000 via Apple Cash. My phone notified me the number was a scammer and would not allow the money to be sent.

I asked the “supervisor” Victoria Lane for a Zoom call to verify her identity and advise I felt uncomfortable with the check situation…..no response. Be ware of scammers!! They’re getting very good!

Both individuals had email domains that matched the company.
