Type of a scam Employment
The interview was their “first ever virtual interview” and was done via Microsoft teams. I was then “offered” the job for a nice salary. I even received a call from a gentlman stating he was HR welcoming me. I completed their paperwork via email. Then I communicated with them via Microsoft teams about getting started and they began saying odd things such as me needing a start up package and payments that are bonus payments for every item I purchase. When I asked for them to talk on the phone, they hesitated and then only called through teams app.
There were MANY red flags along the way.
I provided them my banking information, social security card and drivers license information. Sadly, I had a feeling it was fraud and reached out to the company to see if it was real and they confirmed it was in fact fake.
