I ordered a black jumpsuit from an online company, Valanio. The item I received was significantly different from what was advertised on their website. I asked to either exchange the item I received for one that is identical to what is advertised or receive a refund. The company replied that there is no quality issue and they will not provide a refund or exchange.

Online Retailer Scam

I ordered a dress from Valanio.com; it took several weeks for it to arrive (even though it says it's made in South Carolina). When I checked the tracking number, it said China and then I became worried. I received the dress, but it was poor quality, the seam of the dress was right down the middle, it was too tight for a medium and there was no return information in the bag. The return address said Jamaica, NY. I reached out to their service email and they asked if I would exchange it for another size, and I said No, I wanted a full refund. They then offered me $13 as a refund and said to keep the product.

On April 4, 2025, my family member purchased several items from the Valanio website. The website represented they had a quality guaranty, fast delivery, easy returns, and that all items would be shipped from the United States or Canada. Preliminarily, the items were not delivered until May 6, 2025, over one month after the order was placed. Once received, the quality of the items is horrendous, and the sizing is approximately three sizes too big. My family member attempted to contact the company, through email, for a refund and Valanio indicated they would only refund money for a "defect" in the clothing. Eventually, they offered me a refund of $76 but I would need to return the items to "Asia" which, they admitted, would be "very expensive." From the beginning, this transaction was fraudulent. The shipping was not quick, the quality is abysmal, and even though they represent to "ship" from the United States, there is no way to return the items within the United States. The Company will not accept returns without prior "authorization" which they will not give unless we return the items back to "Asia."

Online Retailer Scam

I ordered from Valanio, who said their clothes are made in USA, South Carolina. I paid $165 for three dresses. I never heard from them after their immediate charge and confirmation. I waited a month and then threatened to cancel. Clothes came — very cheap material and very, very small. I asked for a return and they said they don’t return for incorrect size and offered me $36. They also are clearly not American, by the way they phrase their words and misuse. This is a total scam!
