I received an offer to sign up for a Mystery Shopper Survey to be conducted at a USPS office. The person I was texting to said his name was Charles Wilson, supervisor for the Survey Company. The number I was texting to was 419 757 8883. It all seemed legitimate and on the initial form I filled out it only asked for my name, address and phone number. It did as what bank I used but only for the name so I didn't think that a generic name would do much good to try and scam my account. During the texting the bank was not mentioned. If this is a scam they are very good at representing this Company - including the website link.

(See attached image) This is the screenshot of the text I received today regarding Walmart Retail Recruitment Survey.
I have been getting hit with a mass amount of spam calls and texts lately (so much more than I've ever had). I report spammer, block numbers (101 numbers blocked so far!), yet they still continue! How do I make it stop?
Back to Walmart RRS ----Can anything be done after the fact...when/if someone clicks on the link and completes the survey?

I also received a similar text msg AND an email yesterday March 15, 2021. The text message said I had been "selected to participate in a campaign as a Walmart Survey Secret Shopper" and would receive "$500 per section" after "interacting with the attendants, cashiers or customer service representatives of the establishment." Below the message was a Google Form that asked for my contact info and my age (but no banking info). I reported the form to Google as abuse (phishing/scam).

I just received a text for a “Walmart retail survey recruitment” text on my phone. It’s offering to pay $500. I suspected it a scam, looked it up and found this site. Glad I did! I believe that if this was a legitimate offering, it wouldn’t be sent out to random numbers with no additional information, except a link to click on. Whatever you may question, never ever click the link! I’ve provided the actual screenshot of the text received.

A form for this company just appeared on my phone. I became skeptical as I was reading through the instructions for being a secret shopper. It is stated on the form that the participant will be paid $400. for each secret shopping experience. Also, Direct deposit is an option for payment, which would of course, require your banking information.
