The text said “We are unable to arrange delivery of the package because the street address you provided does not match your zip code, please update tinyurl.com/US-PS-NMV”

I clicked on the website, and it asked for my email address and correct name/street address. The website then claimed that a redelivery fee of $1 would be needed and asked for my credit card information.

Got a text that stated that my package could not be delivered and I needed to pay the redelivery fee to process. Unfortunately, I have been waiting for a package from USPS we assumed it was lost and assumed that was what I needed to have it redelivered.

The text read "Your package is on hold at the post office because of delivery address is wrong, please fill in the address online. [US-PS} https://t.co/Bib35iHG66

They tried to take 30 cents not sure if payment went through or not. I am expecting a package and usually sign up for text updates so it seemed real. Really worried about my bank account and personal info. Website link looked very accurate as USPS.

The scammer is impersonating the USPS. Their text short handed “please” to “pls” which tipped me off. Once I clicked on the link and input some basic information, the site asked for credit card information for a redelivery fee. After checking, the USPS doesn’t charge a redelivery fee.

I received a USPS related smishing text message with the message: “ Your parcel is on hold due to incorrect address provided to update your info and redeliver your parcel. https://s.id/1vVNw” .

I did click the link (because I though it was in regards to a real package I’m waiting on) and I did provide my credit card details. I have not experienced any impacts to my credit card (yet) and currently have the card paused to hopefully prevent fraud.

They texted. It took me to a page that looked just like UPS on a day I had been on the UPS website changing my address.

Recieved text saying USPS needed money for a package that was undeliverable around Christmas time. Gave info of my debit card to pay the 47 cents to redeliver believing it was the postal service. Then realized it was a scam. Week later someone used my debit information to charge 200 dollars on DoorDash. This was the text I received:

USPS] Package delivery has been suspended due to incomplete house numbers, please modify the address online in time https://s.id/1tnqz

Text message said mail package delivery had failed and I needed to reenter my delivery address and pay a $3 redelivery fee to get my package delivered. I was expecting a package today and often have issues with our address being deliverable. The link in the text message took me to a website that looked identical to the USPS website, which is where I entered my address, name, and cc number.

I ordered a product on ETSY and then received an email from USPS saying there was an issue with the delivery and that it was delivered to my address which it wasn’t. It then asked for $.097 for a redelivery fee to be sent out to my house. I tried calling USPS to get a confirmation but to the sake of me I couldn’t get any answers.

Text message received: [US/PS]- Your package was not delivered to your door due to your wrong home address, please update the address in time. https://ups-setoai.us

When I clicked on the link the mobile website looked exactly like the USPS Informed Delivery website. It asked for my name, address, phone number, and email which I entered. The next page it directed to informed me of a $3 redelivery fee and required my credit card, expiration date, and security code. At this point, I became skeptical and a quick google search informed me that USPS doesn't charge for redelivery fees. The scam website also provides a tracking number for the "undelivered" package; however, when I compared it to other tracking numbers it was too short to be a legitimate number.

Texted this- US-Post - Your package cannot be delivered because the package address does not match the street info. Please update the address https://s.id/1v485

Received a text stating my package couldn’t be delivered and to follow the link to enter my new address. I followed the link and it looked exactly like the usps website. It then asked me to enter my corrected address and on the next page stated a $3 fee needed to be charged in order to redeliver my package which I thought was odd. I was expecting a package today though, so I entered my credit card info to ensure delivery. I then went to the post office and they told me this was a scam and that they don’t charge redelivery fees.

Scammer used website very similar to USPS.org and told me my package couldn't be delivered because I had put in the wrong address. Scammer told me that I needed to pay a redelivery fee of $3.

I received a text message stating that a package I’m expecting needs to be redelivered (attached). The message included a link in which it brought me to, what appeared as, the USPS website where it asks you for a 30 cent fee to attempt redelivery. I entered my credit card information. Two days later, my credit card company alerted me that there was over $5000 in fraudulent charges from Walmart and Underarmour.
