I got a text from USPS saying my package wasn’t delivered to to authorize a $0.03 transaction for redelivery. I put in my card info. And when I looked up the tracking info it said wasn’t delivered, it was somebody else’s package that was delivered to GA

I got a text message that said the following:

?????U.S.P.S - The package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information.Confirm your address at the link.

https://trackmypackagespot.us

(Copy the link to your Safari browser and open it)

I was then promoted to a website that had a tracking number that looked exactly like the USPS website and it asked for my address to see if I was eligible for informed delivery and it said I had to pay 30 cents to have my package redelivered. It asked for my credit card information and my phone automatically input it through autofill. I realized this was a scam.

I recieved a sms message claiming that I had incomplete address information on my package on three separate occasions, two of which occurred in the last two days. One had a clickable link and it directed me to the USPS website about a package redelivery. The first time this occurred, I wasn’t suspicious because the tracking on my package had said it got shipped back to the original facility. This time around, I got two sms messages from two separate icloud emails. I was slightly more suspicious because it wasn’t the same one that originally contacted me previously, and this time the tracking for my package says it is supposedly still on its way. Both links provided in the message I received weren’t clickable so I had to copy and paste them. All took me to the same website but the other times I submitted the information asked (when I believed everything was legit) the website took forever to load the third page. At that point I grew impatient and closed it out, but today I cooperated and waited for it to load. Minutes later, about 30-40, I received a message from my bank asking me to verify a purchase made off my card. That’s when I realized I fell for a scam. I searched Google for “USPS Redelivery verification code” to look for where I’d find it because it didn’t pop up in my email or as a message. I scrolled down a but and found results for “Smishing Scams”. I immediately called my bank and locked my current card, as well as requesting a new card.

Reporting a fake USPS website that reached out to my grandpa, the website looks very official and says that 'the package cannot be delivered and is being held at a USPS location' and when you go to enter your address it says they'll charge you $.30 for a redelivery which USPS does not do

This organization ("usps postal shop") posted an advertisement on Facebook which linked to their “usps postal shop” (https://www.usps-postal.shop/). The website impersonates the USPS Postal store- using all of the "bells and whistles" (logos, layout, stamp images, language) that the USPS Official website uses (https://store.usps.com/store/results/stamps/). This organization (“usps postal shop”) were selling USPS "Forever" stamps at a discount. I made a purchase online from a home PC - ordering the minimum number of stamps to take advantage of the discount. I paid for the purchase through my PayPal account (connected to my bank checking account). When I received acknowledgement of the purchase from PayPal I noticed that the Seller Information was listed as "The Postal Store co" and "Camila-liuzai@hotmail.com" - which indicated to me this was a scam organization (the USPS would never use a personal email address as their seller information). I immediately logged onto my PayPal account - changed my password and set up with PayPal a dispute of this transaction - that I was scammed by an organization that was impersonating the USPS Postal Store. Search of the web came up with several articles referring to these scams (see for example "How scammers are selling counterfeit stamps on Facebook ads" - *****************************************************************************). I also sent an email to the scammer's contact email (Sales@postal-store.com) requesting that this transaction be canceled.

Not sure but looked like USPS with a delivery issue. Unfortunately I was waiting on a package so completed my address & $3 fee   I think I only provided address but did ask for a credit card payment of $3 which I processed. So far I have not seen it on my account.

Wants me to click a link to get a package that I supposedly owe $2.99 on that they've been trying to deliver. They say they're the post office but the actually email isn't the post office but @help.com. I've never heard of Parcel Alert (registered trademark) or the email "parcel.aLERT@help.com". There is one link there but I won't click on it as the post office doesn't use my email address.

I placed an order in April and paid for standard shipping (I believe it was 3-5 business days.) After several weeks I reached out asking when my items would be shipped. I’ve been told repeatedly for two months now that my items would ship “next week.” I have had no explanations as to why my order has not shipped except for “high order volumes.” I was told by the company two weeks ago that my order would ABSOLUTELY be shipped by 6/28. When that didn’t happen I reached back out requesting either confirmation that my items have shipped or a refund. Their response was “it will ship next week.” I asked for a refund as I am tired of being told that same thing over and over every week, and they told me no. I told them I would be reporting them for fraud several times if I didn’t receive confirmation of shipping or a refund and they don’t seem to care.

Received a text message saying a package was undeliverable because it had the wrong address. I clicked the link and the page looked like the true USPS website. I was prompted to type in my mailing address, which I did. When I was told to enter my credit card number to pay $3 for the package to be redelivered I was suspicious.

- Galesburg, IL, USA

They sent me a text message saying a package cannot be delivered to me because my address was written wrong. The reason I believed it because I was expecting a package and I had just left the local post office.

- Point Roberts, WA, USA

Asked me to pay a fee for the United States Postal Service to reroute a package, when in fact the USPS never charges for rerouting. Asked for my address, full name, email, phone, and credit card information.

Saw an advertisement on Facebook for a motorized scooter at a fairly reasonable price and clicked on said ad. I decided hesitantly, to make a purchase with this unknown company. Paying extra for expedited shipping I waited almost a month checking the "tracking" info provided by Blevie which kept indicating the same position and/or status. Needless to say, I reached out to the company several times and they assured me that the product was on its way. Another month goes by and I checked the tracking and it indicated that the product had been delivered to my address, but in fact it had not! I reached out immediately to the company getting no response, at first, then the response I did get was a generic yes the product had been delivered. After going round and round with the company the responses from the company became fewer and fewer. Ultimately they stopped responding to my inquiry for a refund. So, I am without said product and have lost $80.00 dollars.

If you click the link it takes you to a fake usps page requesting personal info, name, address, DOB then wants a redelivery fee to be purchased to receive your item

Ordered two stanley’s and they never arrived.

- Charlotte, NC, USA

I ordered 2 jumpsuits in early April. When they did not arrive by mid-May I contacted the company via email. They responded that my items were shipped and gave a tracking number that seemed legit. After another month and still no package, the tracking number given was not legit according to the USPS. The company has not refunded me nor explained why they gave me a false tracking number.
