An unidentified representative called and asked if I was the owner of my business. As soon as I said yes she ended the call. I am uncertain as to the purpose of the call but it was clearly a scam of some kind. I am concerned that my confirmation of my business will be used for an unauthorized purpose.

Voicemail left--sounds like a computer generated call; the caller left a voicemail message but it was mostly distorted, so I could only make out the following words, ".....you will be taken into custody by the local police.........there are four....allegations......press.........We would request that you get back to us so that we can discuss about this case..........before taking........." (The rest of the call is did not come through).

I have been contacted by someone from this number 416-761-3661 via Text message about a job. It states that the job offer is no less than $29 an hour and I would need to do a briefing interview online via Google hangout or Skype. I asked for the briefing to be over the phone and they stated that the only authorized medium is though Google hangout or Skype.

I WAS USING MY HP COMPUTER AS A MESSAGE CAME ACROSS TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND TO CONTACT A NUMBER TO HELP FIX IT. AS I CONTACTED THE NUMBER AND CAUGHT ON THAT IT WAS A SCAM, AND I INFORMED THEM THAT I WAS REPORTING THEM TO POLICE THEY CONTINUOUSLY CALLED MY PHONE AND STATED DISGUSTING WORDS AND WOULD NOT STOP CALLING UNTIL I BLOCKED THE CALL. CALLER IS STILL CALLING PHONE FROM RANDOM NUMBERS.

Received a call on my cell phone that sounded like an automated call. The message stated that I had a problem with the IRS and that an arrest warrant had been issued in my name. The message ended by stating that I should call their phone number immediately.

I just got a call, I believe I was targeted, probably the yes scam. Person on other end had my name. Instead of asking if this was "name", they just said, Name, and I responded yes, because they said my name and I am expecting a call. After that they hung up. I am now waiting to see what becomes of this call.

received a voicemail saying they reviewed my online resume and had open positions working with "Amazon" listing products and posting reviews that paid anywhere from $17-$32 hr. Female said to apply today as they are only hiring 23 people and to apply to "stockretail.org". I looked at their site which immediately looked suspicious. Also, it seems they have different names, i.e. "stockretail.com" etc. The positions are not on a job site with job description but rather a scam for you to pay for a training kit. I checked the Amazon site and they have no such jobs listed. This is a scam!

Sage will be an additional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before magistrate judge or the grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 914-556-1297. I repeat it's 914-556-1297. Do not disregard this message and do return the call. Now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Goodbye.

I keep receiving messages on my answering machine from 612-254-1548 intended for various individuals from this company. I have informed them that this is the *** family private phone number @*** and have asked them to remove my number from their system

so that I do not keep getting messages but they keep calling. They have called for past three days in a row. It sounds like they are some type of collection agency. Is there anything you can do to help stope their calls?

They keep harassing me with voicemails and telling me that I need to press a number to not be contacted but it doesnt work and they keep advertising loan forgiveness and preapproval for loans but I am an underage minor.

Says her name is Chloe Bennett. Pretends to be a law office (will not say a name) pretending I have a court ordered summons (will not say for what or why or who) then says I will be served at my home or place of employment. If I need to reschedule or have any questions I need to contact "the plaintiffs office" at 737-200-2811. You call that number and after a few rings you get elevator music and it prompts you to leave a message but does not say the name of company. They have called me several times ( the person pretending to be Chloe Bennett) when you call the 855-832-1416 number back it goes straight to voicemail. They even called my relatives claiming I have a court summons. Which I do not. Scam

Not sure what the offer was. It was a robo-voice message and did not use correct English grammar. It did not wait for the voicemail message so I don't know how it started, but it said "and once you get expired you will be taken into custody by the local cops." and so forth.

My grandmother called me this morning. She said her cellphone rang and she missed the call and my cellphone number appeared as the missed call, so she was calling me back. Only my cellphone was turned off and halfway across my house from me when the call occurred.

BBB has a scam listed where scammers call YOU from YOUR number but this was scary. Everyone always says "Don't answer unless it's a familiar number" but this scammer used a familiar number to call her!!
