I seen an ad on Facebook for United Aid Group and decided to try to get my student loans forgiven.
I talked to a woman named Vivian Rodriguez and she seemed really legit about everything until she said I had to pay a payment of $900 and then sent me some documents to sign and while I was on the website to see what I am signing, she said I'm sorry they changed the fee and she got it wrong and raised it up to over $1,000.
She also accessed my FSA ID and information easily withe little information. She knew exactly how much I owe on my student loans and all my personal information in my FSA account, so it is very easy to be scammed.. I don't know how and why it is so easy for people to access accounts that are secure and wish the United States Dept of Education would fix this before some more people get scammed out of more money than what we are paying.. Before I realized this was a scam she asked for my account that they needed to be on file so they could call me and get the payment, I gave her my PayPal account (dumb move, I know). Luckily for me once i realized it and had her on the phone I reported my card stolen and locked it.PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THE UNITED AID GROUP SCAM!

Again, we apologize for any misunderstanding you had when discussing your options with one of our loan advisors; if you send an email to [email protected] and ask to speak with our supervisor, we will look into your file and work something out as courtesy for the confusion.

Kindest Regards,

United Aid Group Management

In regards to the bad experience you had with one of our Loan Advisors, we apologize for any confusion and will take the necessary steps internally to resolve this issue and make sure one of our clients never feel uncomfortable again. Verifying your loans on the FSA website is necessary to confirm you're eligible to apply. A loan advisor will not access this information unless an Advisor is on the phone and talks you through the process of accessing that information. The United Aid Group is not a scam; we are a document preparation agency that works to assist students such as yourself get the relief they deserve. If a client is not happy with our services, we always do right by them. You have experienced no monetary loss and would have never been "scammed" if you proceeded with our services.

Many Students who have been defrauded by these debunked, closed, For-Profit institutions such as ITT Tech, Le Cordon Bleu, Everest, Sanford Brown, Brown Mackie and more, are indeed eligible for legitimate relief offered through the US government. Many of these loans are being forgiven; especially now under the new Biden Administration.

Hello Es BEe,

The United Aid Group takes pride in the way we do business. Our Honesty and transparency when it comes to assisting our clients is very important to us. It is unfortunate that you publicly slandered us because of what seems to be a misunderstanding. We are a company that has been fighting to help the victims who attended these debunked colleges such as Everest and ITT Tech with great results. The United Aid Group provides an honest and straight forward service that guides students whom are victims of For-Profits universities and are eligible for relief.

Saw an ad on facebook, and they called and emailed me several times. I talked to them and was told my colleges I went to were not accredited and they were for profit. They told me my application was approved and that they could submit my paperwork and my student loans could me cleared in 24-36 months. They told me the only payments I had to pay was 397.50 once monthly for 2 months. I also noticed in my phone their number came up as spam. I honestly believed they were legit. They also told me that they dont take payments unless I was approved 100% for my student loan to be wiped out. They also said they can talk to the us dept of education. I gave them a credit card for the payments but scheduled it out in case of this being a scam. Will be calling my credit card company today to let them know not to allow anything from them to come out of my account. Luckily my bank is good about weird stuff coming out and always contacts if they see anything weird also. Watch out for these people please. As they are also not accredited with the BBB.

Hi, can you clarify how you were scammed? I am looking into this company - I am seeing the negative reviews but no one is actually stating how they were scammed. Thanks. Is it because you wind up having to pay upfront?

Hello Midnite4386,

Looking over your file and this review, you have not lost any money and are not able to provide any proof behind these claims. We are not accredited with the BBB because businesses pay for accreditation, any business can get accredited if they pay a membership fee. Please do more research before publicly slandering a legitimate business. You have not lost any money and your claims are false. To anyone reading this website, please do your research.

So what was the problem? You only talk about the program and the fee. United Aid Group is a reputable company not a non profit company. People if you want the work done keep in mind they are professionals who do the work for you. Plain and simple. Speaking on this because I got my entire 83000 discharged. That company changed my life. Good day ?

They also told me the same thing about the schools being for profit and having to wait for my verbal application to e approved. Also the links and emails they sent me seemed legit. I am saddened I was fooled and almost scammed. I guess these opportunities for dept relief are to good to be true and we just have to pay up for things and stuff we never received.

I saw an Ad on Facebook about the school I attend and how a class action lawsuit was filed. I submitted my information to hear more about the lawsuit but they didn’t have information on it. Instead, one of their employees called and began to tell me that the school I attend often open more then one student loan and how it makes them more profits over time. She was able to see all of my student loans with little information and was even able to find the last four of my social without telling her. She stated that she could get my student loans completely differed because of the way my school set up my loans. She stated that they would help me with the process and I wouldn’t have to pay my loans at all. She then asked for 750$ and said she can split in two. I agreed to pay but that night I started to question it. I called the next day to get more information and the employee I talked to this time became very flustered and angry when I began asking questions. He told me that their business is on the ScamPulse.com website. When I searched I couldn’t find it. I told him and he said that the website must be having problems. After ending the call I waited a few days to check the website again and it still wasn’t there. The very was rude and abrasive. He eventually refunded me my money but I’m nervous because they have my credit card information.
