Type of a scam Identity Theft

I was renewing my passport and this website tricked me into thinking I was renewing my passport through the US government. I paid $67 and provided my SSN, address, phone number, email address, personal information, credit card number and date of birth along with names of my parents. It provided me with the forms completed so that i could mail them to the US State Department. I thought this was the fee to renew but instead it was the fee to complete forms for you and then you pay the additional governmental fee. This is misleading and a scam. You can do yourself for free and then pay the government fee to renew. This website was not labeled well and is purposely misleading consumers to provide all of their information and CC numbers. Do not fall for this! I am smart enough to know better and was fooled.
