They will say they’re part of trip advisor. Do not say yes if they ask if you can hear them. Make sure to check your bank accounts and any charge on your phone. I’m going to do that right now.

This number has been calling me multiple times about a free trip to the Bahamas and they say lol you got to do is tell be people bout them to launch there business and be at the right age to be able to get the trip. When you tell them your age they act like they are getting ready to transfer you to another person to verify your trip. No one on the line will pick up and they will say sorry for the delay that it usually don’t take that long,The same person stays on the phone.so if you get a call from this number 901-440-5950, just hang up and report it

'This is Trip Advisor calling on a recorded line can you hear me?' I always hang up before they get too far into the scam. They have called multiple times from different numbers. 406-266-7192, 406-201-3608

The first time I listed the longest. Something about winning a trip but I was in the middle of the event and couldn't talk so told them to call another time and hung up. Since then they keep calling.

For about two weeks, I've gotten calls from 614-697-0452, when I answer, the caller says: "This is Brandy from Trip Advisor and I'm on a recorded line, can you hear me?".

Someone from this phone number called claiming to be with Trip Advisor immediately saying the call is being recorded and quickly asks "can you hear me okay". They ask very quickly quickly in hopes you automatically respond. This is their efforts to get a recored "yes".

These people are looking for your Credit/Debit card information. They call you by using someone else’s cellphone or landline so you can’t report, track or block them. I know because they’ve used my cellphone to make their fraudulent calls to other scam targets. These people have no class. I’ve been called twice a day for three months.

Got a phone call from Lilesville, NC at 1-704-270-5261. The person said "this is Brandy from Customer service from Trip Advisor - can you hear me." I replied yes and she suddenly hung up. This happened today, 7/26/2018 so I am not yet aware of money being lost at this time but I now know it is a scam.

This number called and said they were with Trip Advisor and asked if I could hear them. I said "yes" and they immediately hung up. When I called the number, they answered "Health Advisors". I asked if it was a scam number and they hung up again. Now when I call back it goes to a customer service line.

I get calls from spoofed numbers saying theyre a trip advisor on a recorded line, all with different names then asking if i can hear them. I hang up the phone with no further word.

Most of the numbers on the photo were from this, a few more were from a different scam. All spoofed. The ones in black I answered but were the same scam.

A scammer called me and said he was from Trip Advisor and asked if I could hear him. I said ‘yes’, they clicked off and a computer recording said “Your number has been added.” Then he hung up.

Caller identifies as Trip Advisor representative. Asks can you hear me? I have received multiple calls daily the past two weeks and usually don’t answer. They hang up after answering machine message comes on.

When you answer the phone, the caller identified himself as Joe from Trip Advisor's Gift Division. He then asks, can you hear me? When I said "yes," the call ended.
