I received an email from the above. It was a secret shopper job offer. I was instructed to send a reply if interested in becoming a secret shopper. My reply was to be my name, address, and phone number. I received a text message a little while later offering me the job and explaining the details of the next steps required. The directions were simple. Then a check came in the mail for me from the same fake whatever scam. The instructions were for me to deposit the insane amount of money into my bank account and then take a picture of the deposit slips. I was to keep half the 1500.00 for my pay and use the rest for the secret shopping mission that week. I sent the number that texted me a message telling them they were a [censored] scam and now I am reporting the scammer. The name used as a signature on the first text message was Kevin Bell.

Trend Source is the Secret Shopper Company. They advertise on the internet about becoming a secret shopper and that you can make a lot of money. I applied to the website hoping to get a job, but I didn't expect to get a $2,450.85 dollar check in the mail with a letter stating that I need to send an email after I deposit the check. I wasn't given any instruction on the letter stating where my secret shopper job was to be held at. On the check, the company that issued the check was from "American Realty Service Inc. thru Chase Bank. The USPS folder that the check and letter came in was from Jermaine Thomas, HUB group Inc., 4 Heather Drive, Billings, MT, 59105. I looked up American Realty Service and the HUB group and on their web site it had no information about Trend Source/Secret Shopper Company.
After I turned down the check thru this Heidi(heiditsourceinc.com) women, she never returned my email and completely ignored me after my comments to her.
