I get 1-3 calls per day from this place claiming they are a trip advisor that I inquired about. Which I never have because my husband and I don't travel. Multiple times I declined them and as I asked them to not call again they hang up on me because I know its a scam where they want money. They call anywhere between 8 am - 10 pm, Monday thru Saturday. They have a bogus call number that calls because I go to call 1(518)284-3453 it does not say the company name just customer [email protected]. Gives the option to speak to an agent but when you press the number it puts you straight to the email address I just mentioned. I am finally making a scam report after they called my home about 50 times now.

The call came to my cell with is connected via blue tooth my car. I was driving and thought I recognized the local number. Caller said, "This is Jared from Travel Advisor (I do use similar sounding web sites). Since I was distracted and driving I thought nothing of it. He then said, "Can you hear me okay?" and I said, "yes" then he hung up. I immediately realized how stupid I just was and went home, spent hours on the phone and called EVERY account I have to report it and replace cards etc.

I received a phone call very early in the morning (6:18AM) on Oct 9, 2017 from the number indicated, showing that the caller was supposedly based in nearby Camarillo, CA. The female's voice indicated that the call was being recorded and asked if I could hear her.

This seems to be the well known "Can You Hear Me" scam in which the caller is trying to get the person to say "Yes" so that they can use that along with other stolen information to make purchases.
