I WAS ON MY COMPUTER, AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE THERE WERE MESSAGES AND MY SPEAKER WAS SAYING THAT SOMEONE GOT INTO MY COMPUTER, DON'T SHUT IT DOWN WE WILL HELP YOU THAT WE ARE PART OF YOUR

ANTIVIRUS CONTRACT WHICH I DON'T HAVE WITH THEM, THEY SAID $499 CONTRACT FOR 2 YEARS THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM SO I AGREED. AFTER THEY COMPLETED THE PROCESS I CALLED MY ANTIVIRUS COMPANY AND THEY SAID GEEKSPRO-TECH IS NOT PART OF THEIR SYSTEM SO THEY HAD TO GO BACK AND DELETE ALL WHATEVER THE GEEKSPRO-TECK PUT IN. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE 18775560127,

I got an email I was suspicious a fake invoice. See attachment., I never answered or enquired cause I knew it was a scam. But I just read an article on Google news about exact same thing, they call asking for your bank info to issue a refund.

You order a phone sim unlock, you click unlock sim several times, by the time you get to the payment page, it goes unnoticed and they flip it to an eligibility check, NOT a sim unlock... Then you will get an email saying the following copyand paste

Pleased to inform you that the unlock for your iPhone 14 128GB Blue (3587984870182**), previously locked to ATT USA, is now ready.

To release the sim unlock for your device now which will be sent Over The Air using either 3G or Wifi, this particular network has two unlocking options - either Standard or Premium service depending on whether your phone is in-contract and/or financed.

If you are unsure which to purchase, we recommend trying the Standard option first - if your phone doesn't unlock you will be given the option to purchase Premium service by simply paying the difference.

Purchase Standard Service - £35

* Standard service only supports phones which are neither in contract nor financed.

Purchase Premium Service

* Premium service unlocks 100% of IMEI regardless of contract or finance status.

Due to limited slots, Premium service is temporarily offline for a few days

Checked email message from nordiclifelock that my contract had been renewed and charged to my visa.no such thing. Unfortunately I called number provided and guy was really sketchy with info

They called and said the xfinity bill would go down and I would get more channels. It applied to me for being a senior citizen. My fiance knew right away it was a scam. I cancelled my cards right away.

working on computer, hacked, took control, info said call 888-214-5712 reach tech support. identified themself as microsoft tech person, took control of computer for 20 minutes, then said to hang up. called back on from phone number 331-272-3571, said would cost 500 dollars to install firewall, told to go to the nearest CVS or WalGrens get gift card. told individual to get off computer, as he still had control, he did I hung up and computer working good,

Bitdefender Ultimate Security (email used was [email protected]) emailed my dad stating they were going to withdraw $379.98 from his bank account on Dec. 2, 2022 for a scheduled renewal. My father does not nor has he ever had this product. There was no answer when I called the number 888-330-7374. The bank has been notified to deny any such amount.

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 4:22 pm, I received an email with an attached receipt addressed to Dear user from Team Geek Squad/ Best Buy with official looking logos. The email was sent from [email protected]. The attached receipt had a Customer ID #, Invoice Number and Order No and a Product Description that was uncomfortably correct but very general. The email said my Geek Squad Care will expire today and will auto-renew for $417 on November 30, 2022 unless I call 808-473-1783 no later than 24 hours before the end of the subscription. I have never contracted with Geek Squad for any kind of service contract so assume this was a phishing email. I also did not call the number as I didn't want these crooks to know their email had actually reached a live person. However, I will be monitoring my bank accounts and credit cards extra carefully. Just so you know, I did try to upload the receipt by using the Upload file arrow but it would not to your site. Somehow we need to figure out a way to stop these creeps and I am glad to see the Better Business Bureau is trying to help. These emails are disturbing, time consuming and scary! Thank you!

They sent an email acting like they were renewing my McCaffee subscription and I needed to call that number that I listed to you. I never had a McCaffee subscription.

I called the number and the guy sounded like he was from India and he said to hang up and he would call me right back and he called me back from a different number from Marathon, Florida. That number was +1 (305) 780-5742. I told him I wasn’t talking anymore because I didn’t feel like this was legitimate, and he hung up on me.

I was originally contacted by the company via a "pop up" ad on my computer-it was supposedly from Microsoft and said there were issues with my computer. There was a number to call, which I foolishly did (again, looked like it was legitimately from Microsoft). There was an attempt to withdraw money from my bank account (again, unfortunately with my permission)-the transaction was denied by the bank (even after several efforts). I spoke with my bank on Monday, had my account "flagged" and requested a new debit card. I did receive an "invoice" from the company saying I had paid for it, which I know I did not. I have received many phone calls from the company since the initial contact despite my repeatedly telling them I was not interested, not to contact me again, and to basically leave me alone. However, they continue to contact me and are now telling me that since I am not interested, I will need to have them remove the installed programs from my computer or I will receive a "bill." Again, I was previously told that I had already paid for it (this was indicated via an invoice and over the phone during one of the many phone calls I received from them). I know without a doubt that I have not paid them anything. Again, my mistake was making the first phone call which I did "in good faith." However, I want them to stop contacting me. What also concerns me about this transaction is that the name of the company changes-one time I was told this, and the next time, it changed.

sent email and it caught me off guard so I called them

18007160886. They claimed to deduct $221 from my account. I told them I didnt have an account and never had. I told them if they did to put the money back in my account. I did not give them any personal info and they wanted me to log into my computer to take control and I refused.

Received 2 emails from the Best Buy Geek Squad Renewal Team re: subscription renewing today and $417. is about to be debited from my account. ...If you didn't authorize this charge, you have 24 Hrs to cancel & get instant refund of the annual subscription. Advised to contact customer care at +1(808) 318-2768

My computer started to act crazy it the screen started flashing red and the message came up says this is Google security contact us immediately so they gave me a number was an 855 number to call call the number and she said yes she says your computer has a trojan virus in it so she said in order to fix it 395 so I thought maybe they got a hold of my IP ISP address and they locked it up and there are themselves but after I told her I'm not paying her money she hung up and then the computer started working again

I received multiple emails relating to an "order" or “order confirmation” re the alleged purchase of the McAfee Total Protection software.

I did not order such a product and never have. The emails came from: [email protected].

I checked the phone number the emails provided for supposed “assistance,” 1-808-736-7675, and discovered that the area code is in Hawaii, but that such a number is not recognized.

Tv wasn't working,so I texted tv place and they texted and ask a question for one dollar ,so I gave them my credit card number , and they changed me 47 $,I called them and they said that's what it cost for member ship I told them I wouldn't get a mbership to ask questions all mth asked them to take it off my bill they said not this time All in the space of 5 hrs
