We purchased a Jeep hard top through a facebook ad from junkyard in Georgia. We paid the seller $150 for shipping to our home in New York, which he arranged. A few days later we were contacted by the Shipping company, Swift Transit Logistics, saying we needed to pay $550 insurance, which would be refunded on delivery. They gave us a phone number to pay through Apple Pay, which we did. A few days later they told us they needed $400 to ship across state lines. The seller agreed to pay half, and we paid the remaining $200 through Apple Pay to a completely different phone number. They promised us there would be no more fees and that the item would be delivered the next day. On the delivery day, after the timeframe they had given us, they contacted us and said that since they had to store the item while they waited for us to pay, we owed them storage fees, and the item would not be shipped until we paid. We complained, and they "reduced" the fees to $171. They gave us a third phone number to pay them through Apple Pay, and they kept telling us all our money would be refunded once the item was delivered. They kept saying it was their policy, but refused to send us their policy when we asked for it repeatedly. We refused to give them any more money, because we felt certain they would keep coming up with more fees. All attempts to contact them or come to an agreement were useless. We never received the hard top, and we never got any of our money back. They claim to be located in Georgia, but when asked would not give us an address. We hit a complete roadblock and had to write everything off as a loss. Do not use this company for shipping anything!
