I am reporting that Patrick J. Weldon, a scammer, who operates under the company name TNB ent LLC (4030 Wake Forest Rd, Suite 349, Raleigh, NC 27609; 550 East Stonewall St, Apt. 1909, Charlotte, NC 28202), falsely presented himself as a legitimate retail gambling operator and scammed me out of $4,200.

Mr. Weldon operates out of malls and other public areas where people naturally gather, creating the appearance of legitimacy and drawing in unsuspecting, vulnerable victims.

The incident took place at a mall, where a crowd had gathered around Mr. Weldon and his associates, who were running a gambling table. Because the event was happening openly in a public place like the mall, it appeared to be legitimate. I was invited to participate in a game called 3 Card Monte (also known as the Shell Game), which I had never heard of before.

Before I joined, I observed others playing and winning, which made the game seem trustworthy. When I started playing, they allowed me to play for free and even win several rounds, including giving me a $400 credit. This further convinced me the game was fair and legitimate.

Then I was told I needed to use real cash to continue playing. Mr. Weldon and his associates claimed they were operating under a legitimate LLC called TNB ent LLC, which led me to believe the game was lawful and trustworthy.

I am reporting this to help get the word out so that Mr. Weldon does not continue to scam other people. I am a young 20-year-old who was taken advantage of and felt I was coerced into playing. Looking back, it was clear that this was a scam.

Deshawn Williams called to say he called me several times and that i have won a car. Calling out of Ashville NC. I looked the number up and it comes back to a residential home. I will not be calling this number back.

Received a voicemail today:

“This is Deshaun Mitchell that made new attempts to reach you regarding an entry form that was filled out your name within the last 18 months and winning a new car unfortunately this will be our final attempt to notify that name was gonna receive one of our top three replied that would be the best interest to call me back as soon as possible my number is 828-348-5308 extension 600 and we're not a telemarking age if you times your company this is not a cold call please do not ignore this message where I call it so when you call you unless someone ask the answer so if you no longer interested in our giveaway leave your number and I'll add I do not call it this is the time to look for hearing from you once again congratulations this is Sean…”

I have not filled out anything for a car.

Voicemail transcription reads as this : “Hey this is Deshaun Mitchell and I've made numerous attempts to reach you regarding an entry form with your name in the last 18 months to receive a new car. Unfortunately this will be our final attempt to notify you that your name was pulled and you are gonna receive one of our top three major prizes and so it would be in your best interest to give me a call back as soon as possible. My number is 828-641-0417 extension 600. Now we're not a telemarketing agency or timeshare and this is not a cold call so please do not ignore this message. Also we have a do not call list so I wouldn't be calling you unless someone actually entered, so if you are no longer interested in our giveaway leave your number and I'll add it to our do not call list. This is a time sensitive matter and I do look forward to hearing from you. Once again, congratulations. My name is Deshaun Mitchell.”

Got an odd voicemail from someone claiming to be Shawn/Sean Mitchell. no mention in the voicemail of what the company or giveaway i supposedly gave my info for. he said this: "hey this is Sean Mitchell, made numerous attempts to call you regarding an entry form to get a new car. Unfortunately this will be my final attempt to notify you that your name was pulled and youre gonna receive one of our top three major prizes. it would be your best interest to give me a call back as soon as possible. My number here is 828-641-0417. Extension 600 And we're not a telemarketing agency or timeshare this is not a cold call so please do not ignore this message I'm very worried to do not call list so I wouldn't be calling unless someone actually entered. If you’re no longer interested in our Giveaway Leave your number I'll add it to our do not call list. This Is a time sensitive matter I do look forward to hearing from you once again congratulations Sean Mitchell"

I never entered any car giveaway, nor were there any previous calls from this number. After reading very similar scripts from others reporting on the internet I did not call this number back.

Got one call from a “Deshaun Mitchell” stating that I’d won a car in a giveaway, but I did not sign up for a car giveaway at any point. Says it’s not a telemarketing agency, etc, but never states what the giveaway was from or a date. Sounds prerecorded

Message left on my mobile same. Same as the message reported 5 days ago. I did not call the suspected scammer so I have not lost anything.

I got the following voice message. I didn’t return the call after seeing information on this page believing this to be a scam.

“Hey this is the Sean Mitchell I've made new attempts to reach you regarding an entry form that your name in the last 1218 months to receive a new car this will be my final attempt to notify that your name was pulled and you gonna receive one of our top three major pride so would be in the best interest to give me a call back as soon as possible my number here is 828-348-5265 extension 600 and we're not a telemarking agency or time is not a call call so please do not ignore this message I'm also very aware to do not call list so I wouldn't be calling less than one so if you no longer interested in our giveaway leave your number I'll add it to my do not call list but this is a time sensitive matter I do look forward to hearing from you once again congratulations this is the shot…”

The website keep want you to add more and more funds , when you finally done , try to withdraw the funds , something happen come up again and you not able to withdraw your money
