I was contacted by phone to be told I was the 3rd place winner in the Heart and Stroke lottery. I either donated or signed up for a coupon (I have donated during a purchase in a store). He already had my name and address. He gave me his name address and phone#. I could only verify the address. He told me that they would deliver a cheque to me and he would submit my information ( no personal data other than my name, address and email). He had me text another number (365-809-1265) with my email address. He then told me he would submit to the ScamPulse.com for a certificate to provide with the cheque for bank verification. He then emailed the certificate. Once received I cross referenced the ScamPulse.com signor (Emily Morgan) which came up as the CEO of a supplement and Vitamin wholesale CEO. I called the Heart and stroke foundation to verify and was told they had not done a draw yet that this is a scam. Once William called back he told me that I would have to pay a fee to the ScamPulse.com for certificate activation. I presented my findings to which he “was offended that I went behind his back, when he’s done so much to help me”. He then said “we are not here to push you and if you feel uneasy about it let’s talk about it. It’s up to you to proceed”. I said I’d think about it, and he hung up on me.
