A woman called and she talked so fast I couldn’t understand her name or who she was with, until she said they were going to send me a back and knee brace as well as a few other things that I wasn’t able to make out. I asked why she was calling me and she replied that I was entitled to these additional benefits from Medicare. I told her I was not a part of Medicare and asked how she got my phone number. She said from the records of Medicare. I asked how she could get my phone number from Medicare since I wasn’t a part of it. She then asked if there was anyone else in the house that was on Medicare. I told her no one else at this address was on Medicare. She hung up. I immediately called the number back and talked with a man this time who started saying the same things, except when I asked where he was calling from it was an entirely different state. He said they might be calling a wrong number. I told him I would be reporting them to the BBB, the police, and one of the TV stations. He did say he was sorry for the call and hung up.
