Sutherland Global Services - fake Reports & Reviews (9)

Hey I had people email me using gmail for a job interview. I’m not sure but they me do a Skype interview. Pretty bummed out it’s fake.

I had these people contact me everything seemed legit they somehow had all my resume info from Indeed. It all seemed legit. They asked me to download Skype and do an interview I though maybe a video interview but it was all through chat I mentioned to them none of the jobs they listed were listed on the companies site. They said it was because work from home jobs are not posted. They also said they would be sending me a check to my account but I refused to offer banking info. They said instead they will send it to me in the mail. I let them know I know they are scammers and have reported them to both indeed and messaged the company directly be careful yal.

Just received a text from (928) 707- 8366) asking if I am (insert name). Googled the number and found this page. Did not respond and blocked the number.

I was contacted by someone who was supposedly working with Sutherland Global Services. Total scam from the email and the check they said they were going to send me. Please pay very close attention to this. They wanted me to download Telegram to communicate with them and asked for personal information about my bank. I've attached a screenshot of the person who I've made contact with, Connie Johnson.

This is the email they sent.

I was contacted by Antonio Greenish using this number saying he was a recruiter for Hopper. I thought it was real because I did apply for a position there. Antonio gave me a different phone number and told me to contact Anderson Hunfrey via WhatsApp. I contacted him and we began an “interview”. The questions all seemed like legitimate interview questions and didn’t raise any red flags. I was told they would send me a laptop to be able to work from home and I also thought this made a lot of sense. Then he started to ask for personal information and I said I didn’t feel comfortable providing info such as my DOB or anything needed for an I-9 form unless it was through a secure channel. After that, he stopped communicating with me. This is definitely a scam.

I received at text on Tuesday Sept 8 2020 from an Allen Murphy, phone number (928) 707- 8366 inquiring if I was interested in a work from home job. He asked me to download the telegram app for an interview with the HR manager. I am being interviewed by a Martins John (508) 458-6874 who informs me about the job qualifications, tells me that I am a perfect candidate, and that I would receive a check to take care of all my expenses. "Martins" asks for personal information but could not provide me with his business information.

Basically I replied to work from home jobs. They emailing and send me a message on my phone for a possible interview on google hangout.

the company name is Sutherland Global Services. We proceeded to the interviewee's with different questions but all via chat. He introduce everything that I was suppose to do. Then came the expenses part were they were going to send a check to buy office supplies. The next day I received a check of $5000 to be deposited into my account. Before I asked my brother who is in IT and also one my ver good friend to check if the company was real. Both said it was a legitimate company. It was a saturday and they wanted automatically to deposit the right.

when I return home. he wanted to send him the copy of the receipt. Since my account already had a balance of about $1300.00, and also the check had a old for 2 weeks, he wanted me to use my money to start buying stuff for him. I automatically decline that and told him it was to pay my bills. He kind of insisted and finally stop and said that i will received another check the following and I should deposited into my other bank account. That check made more sense because it has a real address. The amount was $3950. My bank authorized about $300 of it to be used. That made more at ease. Then he asked to buy $200 worth of google card. Which I did and the next day, the bank block my account and when I called they told that check didn't look like a real one and it will be returned and I should not my account for any reasons.

I was very furious I contacted him back and after a lot exchange, he told that " ain't no company".
